Also the sea levels have not lowered. It's a plain lie. Finding out is as easy as checking the responsible monitoring stations...

If the world went up 6 degrees that mean the temperture today would be 86 degrees instead of 80. The north pole is -40, so it being -34 is not that bad. there is land there so polars bears can still survive and arent there penguins at the tropics to.

@damienfeb01 That's because the solutions are long-term. Global warming is a long-term proccess (thus is, it will take another 50-60 years for the poles to dissapear) and you see people frickin' out. Then one thinks "if it's still 50-60 years away, then we've time to solve it, where's the problem?". The problem is that the CO2 we're sending now will affect us in 40 or so years, meaning that we have round 5-7 years or so to solve it, and then it will be no going back.

@damienfeb01 Well, to make my next point I would need to know your age (not an exact amount, just knowing if you're a middle-aged man or a teenage girl, for example). But supposing you're a middle-aged guy, it's logical that you're not seeing climatic change affecting your everyday life, because it isn't. The temperature has gone up by 1.7 degrees for the last can't-remember how many years, so for you is basically the same. Problem is, it's a drastic change for water status.

@bobsanders222 If the temperature goes from an average 15º to 18-19º, the himalaya waters start to dissapear. At 20º the poles dissapear, and at 25º we all basically die. But in relative terms, it won't affect you.

Green Peace is basically a religious propaganda organization looking to make money with stupidities like biodiversity and nuclear energy. But global warming and overpopulation are simply facts.

And the temperature goes up BEFORE the Co2 level does, so that wouldn't cause it. plus the earth has been in a state of Global COOLING for the last few years! so learn facts from sources besides the biased-liberal based media, ass-hole! the rushie neocons will always tell you that global warming is a hoax ... that there is no melting of polar ice ... al gore says that the ice for the entire north pole will be gone in 23 years ... but i have seen al gore's 400,000 year charts of co2 and temperature and the south pole will melt too because temperatures now are kept constant only because the poles are melting ... after the melting is complete, temperatures will hockey stick straight up just like current co2 levels
