lostinetwork, really nice work on this .jzml project. Have you ever put it up on the Jazzmutant site to share? If you haven't, would you ever be willing to sell the .jzml and .ens? Is it all MIDI or OSC?

Metaphysical Function may be intimidating at first sight, but once you take the time to read the manuals and identify the sections, it'll be pretty straight forward.

It is clearly a 2 Multi OSC synth with an integrated Granular Sampler and it primarily works with the principle of automation.

Worth every penny!!!

lemur can does work like a regular qwerty keyboard thanks to "Osculator" app. You can see how it does work from osculator website if you are interested.

Controlling MF with mouse+keyboard wouldn´t be funny (imo) because just you could to move/record one slider at time.

Erm, the Lemur IS a tabletop controller. I think you may find that Lostinetwork has positioned his camera overhead in this video, which probably gives the effect of the Lemur being upright. Check the Jazzmutant website for pictures.

Also, the Lemur is used in conjunction with a PC/Mac AND a monitor, so you are not actually prodding on the computer display. Think of the Lemur as a posh MIDI/OSC controller! A very expensive one!!

That may be true of a monotouchscreen, but the multi-touch Lemur is way faster than mouse and keyboard. You can basically use all ten fingers on ten different controls simultaneously, if you need more control you could also use your toes! Interesting idea!!

I love Metaphysical function; such an awesome sounding ens. the interface looks perfect enough for me to consider buying one despite the eye watering tag.

One question, can you set up multiple screens (like in Reaktor - view A vs view B) or are you 'restricted' to the one set of controls?

you can set up as many as you want, only restricted by the onboard memory. I have one layout that spreads across 20 pages...

it's playing in realtime... you're seeing a realtime interfacing with the plugin which is playing... so the answer is "this is a live performance, not a 'tune'"
