@majormatress i havent studied ecology at a degree level but even i know that taking out an apex predator from a food chain means each stage bellow it will be effected, a larger increase of it's preys numbers and new predators will arrive to take its place. Coconuts kill more people annualy then great white sharks.

@majormatress Sorry, but the only aggressive creature is you if you want to wipe out an entire species. Lions are also aggressive, let's wipe them out. We should wipe out crocodiles, snakes, spiders and everything else that's a danger to us too. Why don't we wipe out every other country other than the US too? Dogs can be trained, a well trained dog will not bite someone unless it's a police dog of course and they receive an order to do so. Sharks on the other hand are wild and can't be tamed, and attack without being provoked. Shark bites also kill people and disfigure people almost every time. How often does a dog kill someone?

Sharks on the other hand are natural born killers, therefore they all need to be wiped out. The ecosystem would be fine, I study this stuff, It would just undergo some very minor changes. @1Darthdeb Ok I am a reasonable man and I admit I should have made my statement more detailed. Only shark species that pose a threat to humans should be wiped out of the wild. The gay sharks like the grey nurse shark are alright, they aren't merciless killing machines like their counterparts. Also, all dangerous sharks should be kept and farmed in captivity, so that they can be killed for their fins. At least then they will contribute something to society ( Asian delicacies in this case).

@bynari88 I agree with you, these are usually experiments for science. They dump fish chunks/blood in the ocean & when a shark is near, they lower the cage with the diver & bate the cage. Sharks are necessary to the ecosystem & I doubt this matress guy really studies this. Not all sharks are dangerous to the environment and every animal has a purpose, whether small or extraordinary. If we got rid of sharks, the change may not be noticeable but soon we will see the effects & regret the decision.

Even if sharks weren't necessary for the ecosystem we'd have no right to just wipe them out. There's also almost no deaths from shark attacks, it's really a minor problem. Thousands die from alcohol, maybe he should wipe out alcohol instead of sharks if he's so concerned about humanity. :)

They never went into the water with a tiny cut. She & her sister never went in with their monthly visitor. I didn't even believe her till she took me to meet my uncles. They dove & shot it with a camcorder. AMAZING. Sharks don't even like the taste of human flesh. Nature must be respected, that simple.

I went shark diving once and i can say from the bottom of my heart it was the most amazing xp of my entire life! Sharks are beautiful creatures and don't deserve to be hunted down and eaten! There absolutley no harm unless you piss em off!

you saw correctly, but there is a separate railing inside the cage for people to hold onto. with all the movement from the waves and from the shark hitting the cage, you have to grab onto something.

I went shark diving once and i can say from the bottom of my heart it was the most amazing xp of my entire life! Sharks are beautiful creatures and don't deserve to be hunted down and eaten! There absolutley no harm unless you piss em off!

you saw correctly, but there is a separate railing inside the cage for people to hold onto. with all the movement from the waves and from the shark hitting the cage, you have to grab onto something.
