I first made one your way, but I didn't really like the green part..

I thought it's too small, 'cause normally the hat is quite big.

So I made another one and I just filled the a few rows up with the 22 pieces and I bent them. Now it isn't closed on top but I like it better that way :)

Anyway, thanks for the tutorial!
