  • I would buy this, and copperhead road ...

  • he wrote the best song ever

  • you are the fastest and the worst teacher ever!

  • @mdcarter11 not really, you're just slow. If you're having trouble with it, just learn the easier version first.

  • I agree with all the comments. You seem like your a nice man that would be a great patient teacher. You laugh at your own mistakes on screen and from the another comment left you may have others. This is totally cool, your the guy I would like to learn from. I don't want a Idol I want a generous down to earth teach.

Your a born teacher with talent and thats even more rare than a Idol. Good Job.

  • Great playing ... But ... you have your capo on the 8th fret ..... and play in F key ...

But the original, by Harry Chapin, was in the key of E with his capo on the 7th fret ...

He , like you, uses the A chord forms at the 7th fret ...... but there is a bit more finger room on the 7th fret .... and it will match the recordings ..

But, good job and cheers ....

  • Great job. I was hoping you'd show us how to play Guy Clarks The Randall Knife. It sounds realitively simple 'til I try it myself.

  • Neil, your still the best on the net my man. After playing for 20 years, you still are teaching me everday. Thank you ! I am a memebr of TG !@!

  • more people needs to rate!

  • Love Chapin and this song. Please teach the full lesson.

  • always been one of my favorite songs
