The problem is that people need to read and take time, which most people don't have, especially with fast food tv news. These so called high brow pbs broadcasts are meaningless. You need at least a few hours of study to even understand Ron Paul's policy beliefs on our monetary policy. Turn off your TVs and read.
@acp6s agreed. ron paul's policies dont come from loyalty to speacial interests and the corrupt BS that permeates DC. Pau's policies are based on principles: sound money, limited government, free markets. These concepts take some time to understand, but Paul does an AMAZING job in "Liberty Defined". That book alone could go a long way to give people an easy to understand look into his platform. Sadly, your excellent and accurate fast food tv news comment is dominant in USA culture today
There are two or three dozens of spammers out there "running" the campaign for you. Indeed. I have to question the legality of your supporters' tactic.
there is no media blackout. the cnn's of the world only report political news that is spoon fed to them by campaigns. Or a campaign can just buy add time. Ron paul is the one blacking out the media. he could care less about cnn.
Also, The internet is also media, no black out here.
They mentioned that Ron Paul wasn't receiving media coverage because he wasn't getting contributions. There was some brief interest after the $4.2M on 5NOV07, but shockingly little media interest after the $6M on 16DEC07. I don't think the Revolution is being ignored because of money. They either don't know what to make of him, or the message of liberty scares them. As the popular movement grows, the media blackout looks stranger and stranger.
Great video. I need to see it all. In another cut of the NOW episode, there were hints of the media bias against Ron Paul, which surprised me from NOW. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive to it by now.
I feel confident that if he gets the nomination, he'll win the general. So everyone please make sure you're registered as a Republican so you can vote in your states' primaries! Getting out the primary vote is crucial!!
Mark Twain once wrote that,"In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man brave, hated, and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."
If the majority of Ron Paul supporters actually vote in the Primaries, we would most likely win. Even if only 5-10% of the public support Ron Paul like the official polls say, only about 5-10% of the population vote in the Republican Primary! That's why it's critical that we have to work hard right now. Just a few people could make or break this election!
Please, be americans, not a poor imitation of stupid europeans like me.
Do you plan also to retreat MC Donalds, Microsoft, IBM, Hollywood moovie distributions etc?. There is no turning back except it you want to lost your jobs, because your economy depend on the stability of the rest of the world. and word stability is nothing related with relaxing, wait and see.
If you retreat you will be poorer and you will have the war in your homes. You must be a bunch of blind stu**ds if you do that.
The rest of the world depends on stability as well. I don't fear the world will descend into chaos when the US starts treat the rest of the world with respect enough to let each countries citizens determine what is best for themselves.
Ron Paul is about defending freedom and our constitutional republic. He is not soft on terror, as he seeks to stop our government's policy of creating enemies and terrorists. Most major terror events have been inside job/false flag attacks if you bother to truly research them (the Neo-Cons and Neo-Libs count on the public not really investigating things).
Daytraderaz1 answer to terrorism: 1)Occupy countries or give weapons to dictators to maintain control (Saddam, The Shah, Musharraf). 2)Dictator controls by killing opposition. 3) Kids of murdered opposition love the US since US put dictator in power that killed their families. Brilliant!!!
Example: 1)US supports Musharref 2) Lot of Pakistan hates Musharref. 3) Same people hates US for supporting Musharref 4) India pissed that US is supporting Pakistan 5. etc......
On the Republican side, Ron Paul obliterated the field for the GOP generating the preference of 62.5% of GOP Caucuses. Mike Huckabee and Fred Thompson follow, generating 33.3% and 16.6% of Republican Caucus preferences, respectively. Among votes in Open Caucuses, Ron Paul wins with 62.5% of Open Caucus votes, followed by Barack Obama (18.75%), Fred Thompson (12.5%), and Hilary Clinton (6.25%).
Good Point. Before the 2006 midterms all the Democrats were like "Bring the troops home!" What happened!? Well forget them, thats why I gave $50 on 5 Nov, and now I will give $100 on 16 Dec to the Revolution.
And to think, all it takes to be mentioned as a legitimate contender these days is winning half the straw polls (finishing in the top 3 in nearly all of the other half), breaking fundraising records, winning every post-debate poll (online *and* text message)...
Dr Paul is right...it *IS* sad that the message is not enough for a candidate to be taken seriously.
The adage heard around the Ron Paul supporters that "Doctor Paul cured my apathy" applies to me as well. I'll be 26 in a matter of days, and I've never voted or taken much interested in politics either. Only until the U.S. government began resorting to tyrannical rule in the wake of 9/11 did I start "waking up" to all of the critical issues facing America (and the world).
I actually first heard about Ron Paul on The Colbert Report... I was so Blown away by his interview, I went Online to find more about this guy... I was hooked on Ron Paul... My next step is to change my status to Republican so I could vote for him!!
This is only one of many issues that Ron Paul has a solid solution to. Also, Ron Paul supporters extend well beyond 'anarchists' and 'libertarians'. Ron Paul supporters want their civil liberties and Constitution back.
Hmmm... at first I though that this man stood no chance against those other canidates, who most people are right now buying into their lies or status. I have a small feeling he may win now, but two elections of Bush have destroyed my belief in the system. :(
I hope that Americans continue to awaken to the message that Dr. Paul is delivering (without the help of mainstream media). Dr. Paul is not really about "revolution" (and the resulting negative, anarchist commentary that will be spun from making Dr. Paul a 'fringe' candidate) but a "de-evolution" of the role of government that is in compliance with the US Constitution....the US was founded by people who fought the War of Independance in order to be free from exactly what the US has become.
6:08 Money talks but so does truth. This next election will be the deciding factor of which is louder.

Ron Pauls answer to terrorism: If we close our eyes, they will go away.
He should stick to delivering babies because he would be unable to defend a nation.
We closed our eyes under Clinton. The result was 9/11.

"Ron Pauls answer to terrorism: If we close our eyes, they will go away."
Bullshit.
Ron Paul's answer to terrorism is:
1. Stop antagonizing people by killing them and occupying thier countries.
2. Concentrate our deffenses at home, to better defend ourselves, as opposed to having our military empire spread thin all over the world.
It's common sense really, but some aren't bright enough to get it.
