My deepest sympathies about your mom. I've been trying to do the genelogy on my father's side and it is fun and frustrating at times. Definitley a hobby that will be treasured by the members of your family in yrs to come. I can totally see your stuff getting a standing ovation. Wow that blanket is gonna be very sweet.
I went through a bit awhile ago where I didn't get to watch vids..now just getting back in the swing. You can't ever catch up. Don't try. Just start from today. : )

i moved closer to the ocean so its quite nice
i been knitting too, leg warmers at the moment i just got me yarn for a baby blanket for my step sister. I just got a knitting machine set up just this week and i never had one so i'm still unsure how it works but imma try it.
I havent made to many videos lately its easy to get out of the habit ; )

It is a very difficult transition when you lose your last parent - my heart goes out to you. You were wise to spend some time with your daughter and granddaughter; nothing gets you on the road to healing the way life, laughter and love do. Big hugs.

Yes i have done some work on my family tree too, but i never seem to have enough time for it recently.
Don't worry about 'catching up' with videos, you never can, i can't watch everyones videos.. i just watch as many as i can but real life calls me too
