Many people forget that the soldiers are out there doing what they do. They worry about their lives. Once you stop and think, it's pitiful. You think you have it hard. Those soldiers go to battle everyday, not knowing if they'll ever come back. And you go to work and come home and complain that the house is a mess, or that dinner isn't done. In my opinion that's sad. Take a minute, to show your respect to all the men and woman out there fighting for their lives. Thanks for what you do.<3
Oorah. Right on man I'm 17 and about to leave to marine corp boot camp on sunday I joind at 17 during my senior year of high school it's what I wanted sence I was little i cant wait to earn my Tittle.
I listen to this song all the time. I am going into the USMC in a year. My Dad won't sign parents primission forms since I am 17, and my mom doesn't live in this state but I know she would sign the papers. So it is either wait a year till I am 18 and I can join with no parents permission, or drive all the way to CA from NY to get my mom to sign the papers. any Advice would help. THANK YOU.

This is a powerful video. I've been sharing some militarily themed videos with some friends over this Memorial Day weekend. One of the guys served in the USCGS for 10 years, gave me a little different perspective on what all they do - I'm used to seeing them at Charlotte Beach, Lake Ontario - which is a lot of saving stupid weekend sailors from themselves, plus some drug interdiction efforts. There are a lot more and more dangerous things they are involved in. Thank you for posting this.
@x6xtyx9x2 the photo is located on a defunct hard drive. The plane is 2 C-130s deploying countermeasure flares. The smoke is manipulated in such a way due to the rotorwash of the props. If the picture is taken at the right time, it can simulate angel wings. The reason this looks like an full figured angel is because the top plane deployed countermeasures slightly ahead of the lower plane.
No matter how many times I watch this, the funeral pictures, where they hand the folded flag to their family always gets me. Me and my family received one of those folded flags just the other day.

I did my time in Iraq ..I am a cavscout and did it with 3-7 cav a troop 3rd Id out of FT Stewart .I never lost a friend in combat but had a few close calls thank for making this video with the Jar heads lol my dad and younger brother are in the USMC

Say that you have loved her for awhile. Say that even if a relationship is never meant to be for the two of you, she will always be able to turn to you for anything. Always.

@VicePower WRONG!! It is not for you to decide if you're "worth all that pain". If you don't talk to her about all of this it will look like you don't respect her ability to handle tough situations. Even I, a complete stranger, can tell you would not want to disrespect her. Maybe it would be worth it to move closer to her, maybe it wouldn't, but regardless, she needs to be part of the decision making. God forbid something does happen to you and she has to live with "what ifs".

@VicePower Just reading through the comments and your comments were really touching. I just want to encourage you not to give up. I met my husband online. He was at Camp Pendleton, I was in Ohio. That's over 2,000 miles! He offered to fly me out to the USMC ball - just as friends. We became more than friends during my trip out to the ball, flew back & forth long distance for months. I finally moved - gave up everything back home. We've been married 7 yrs now. I don't regret a thing. : )

I listen to this song all the time. I am going into the USMC in a year. My Dad won't sign parents primission forms since I am 17, and my mom doesn't live in this state but I know she would sign the papers. So it is either wait a year till I am 18 and I can join with no parents permission, or drive all the way to CA from NY to get my mom to sign the papers. any Advice would help. THANK YOU.

This is a powerful video. I've been sharing some militarily themed videos with some friends over this Memorial Day weekend. One of the guys served in the USCGS for 10 years, gave me a little different perspective on what all they do - I'm used to seeing them at Charlotte Beach, Lake Ontario - which is a lot of saving stupid weekend sailors from themselves, plus some drug interdiction efforts. There are a lot more and more dangerous things they are involved in. Thank you for posting this.

@x6xtyx9x2 the photo is located on a defunct hard drive. The plane is 2 C-130s deploying countermeasure flares. The smoke is manipulated in such a way due to the rotorwash of the props. If the picture is taken at the right time, it can simulate angel wings. The reason this looks like an full figured angel is because the top plane deployed countermeasures slightly ahead of the lower plane.

I did my time in Iraq ..I am a cavscout and did it with 3-7 cav a troop 3rd Id out of FT Stewart .I never lost a friend in combat but had a few close calls thank for making this video with the Jar heads lol my dad and younger brother are in the USMC

This band seems to be a link between us. So, if he does join and is deployed, I will listen to this song everyday until he is back home safe.

At the very best, I want her as a really close friend, but with the career I've chosen and the short-life expectancy of my chosen field (Infantry), I don't ever want her to be in sorrow and pain if the worst and unexpected should (and probably would) happen to me. Even I, a complete stranger, can tell you would not want to disrespect her. I really want her to know, but it's the unknown of it that frustrates the hell out of me and somedays, I literally feel like I'm going insane over it. God forbid if I didn't have bands like Cold to get me through it all.

@VicePower Just reading through the comments and your comments were really touching. I just want to encourage you not to give up. I met my husband online. He was at Camp Pendleton, I was in Ohio. That's over 2,000 miles! He offered to fly me out to the USMC ball - just as friends. We became more than friends during my trip out to the ball, flew back & forth long distance for months. I finally moved - gave up everything back home. We've been married 7 yrs now. I don't regret a thing. : )

@fenderchick1977 oh wow I'm so happy for you. That sounds so inspiring. I'm really glad things worked out for u guys. I'm sure he was kinda like me haha sweating & just nervous over the whole thing. It's the job we chose & the short-life expectancy of it worries us, in terms of healthy, long-term relationships. It's something some guys handle well & others just don't wanna put their love through all that pain & waiting but time will tell & maybe I'll make the right choice, good luck to u both :)

Oohrah bro...Great video, dont worry about any of the haters. They are just ignorant fools incapable of sympathy for those who are defending their right to say what they are saying. We still fight for them to sit in their ignorance, but I thank you for this video.This song really touches home.

one of my favorite bands! Scooter has come a long way, and his music is really good now! His old music was but very depressing which I listened to it when I was sad and it made me even more deppressed listening to the lyric and relating it with my life. ï»
