  • They changed the Thunder King here in Norway, no more lighting ball of loud boom, just sparkly stuff :/

  • Here in the uk, we can buy 1.3G 25 shot thunderkings for £7.50.

  • Hello, I appear am a Franc, am of chili and adore the fireworks, but the problem is that in chili illegal to domiciliary level, the question is you can support or give some idea to be able to legalize the fireworks us (already envie a message to the government but they do not rest, please help me it is very important that in chili this is respected.) being grateful for his help and comprehension. Franc Pd: please help us.

  • thumbs if you came here for the fire works firing

  • go for KABBOEM to 4:04

  • i was thinking the small one is a thunder king cake (basically 25shots of those single shot ones they sell) and the bigger one is like a 1" salute cake or something. I dont have a 1.3license or anything but that is just my thought and if i could choose the bigger one seems to be the better deal.

  • wow those things are dirt cheap

  • yeah i noticed that some firework companies (phantom fireworks) makes things smaller and lie about assortments i saw a display that an assortment cost 120 bucks and came with 932 pieces but they made some of the cakes look real big but when i got this assortment they sorta pissed me of im thinking of going some where elese when i want some good quality products, also whats up with jumping jacks the packs get smaller and most of the jacks dont ignite i think its bull

  • Every year here in my state,i always get the same reply from dealers.they couldnt get single shot thunder kings.but they usually have 25 shot..which is weird to me.the law is stern on that b class shit, but i normally see cops letting you slide,if youre not pissing to many people off,and you only do it on the 4th of july.if its august 5th and youre lighting this shit.its over for you.but on the 4th of july ,they will tell you to calm down.thats it!!

  • Steek af dan!

  • hey displayfireworks1 keep on making more videos i am a firework guy thats just goes crazy over fireworks can you do your firework stashes for each year im in nebraska and what do you think the fireworks here are like

  • AIRSTRIKE!:)

  • what country is that?

  • Great Information, thanks dave

  • in finland a few years ago 5 thunderkings = 20 cents

  • In demark you can get a 500 shot thunder king for 599 kr!

  • @LegoM1089

do you have a homepage to the company that sell this and where in denmark can you get it? I must have a tripp over the bridge next year ;)

  • @LegoM1089 is that alot? i know there about 25.00 dollars here.thats if you can even find them.nobody wants to mess with class B.it comes with bad news if youre caught

  • lol in holland we can only use fireworks on 31 and thunder king there is 7.50 firecracker 200 of them 1,50 euro many many fireworks

  • in finland you get thunder king for 3 euro :-)

  • @xPuppe

Finnish thunder king is bullshit. I am from Finland, and our laws has ruined the thunder kings. The ORIGINAL thunder king was extremely loud, now a days they sound like a fart because of the noise regulations. Anyone who claims other is a nuub with fireworks.

  • aussies dont get shit. not fair.

  • saa ne paskat räjäyttääkin

  • in holland is 24 thunder kings like 10 euro NOT 7,50 lordofnoob21

    Nederlands:

Jha miss in belgie of zo maar 24 voor 7,509 ECHT niet knock-outs zijn ong 3-4 euro voor 6

  • @woutertje026 little bit less than 13 euros you have 24 pieces with 6 different styles (sort of the palm tree effect) and they are loud,

(the rest of the text i have only in dutch because im going to sleep, 3:23 now hereXD)

  • u guyes are lucky whit the price! in norway one thunderking 25 shoot cost about 70dollars ore 400 norwegian kr

  • we can buy them single shot in the netherlands, and these cakes for like 10 euros or 60 shots with silver mine for 20.

  • Comment removed

  • somehow i knew he wouldnt light them

  • Comment removed

  • in holland you buy them seperate its 24 tunder kings for 7,50 euro so calculate :)

  • @lordofnoob21 i bought thunderking meter (24 separate thunderkings) for 12,65 r so and they are louder and nicer (a palm tree effect @ the explosion when its in the air) (this is to in holland)

  • @lordofnoob21 i think you should calculate in finland maxi package of thunder kings with 2.9 euros : )

  • Outside diameters mean nothing. Caliber of the tubes is the thing!

  • dam white people are pissed about there firework

  • i been trying to find where i can buy those from...where can i get thunderkings from

  • yea i know

  • hay Dave look up 8000 thunder kins they litgh it off all at onces its realy kool

  • In holland we have "Binkie", thats harder and better than thunder king we have here :)

  • no doubt the bigger one is way better

  • you can better go to china there you can buy the cheapest fireworks

  • @emofaraway ya but if u go to china i don't think it would be easy to bring them back to the u.s. or wat ever country you live in so you would need to use them there

  • @phenixking300 i think youre right

  • hahaha...i love it when he says " these are in...ummm...American measurements"

  • I would always go for quality instead of quantity and I would rather pay a little more for a better show myself.

  • I wonder if Canada has the good fireworks like these or so called overloaded cakes?

  • Fireworks would have been much cheaper in California if it allowed firework sales like Indiana, Missouri etc.

  • The big one in bether ill think. Nice collor of the balls an louder bang. ;)

  • Here in Texas they are now putting a Explosive weight tax for every pound you buy it is .05 added to your bill and there is normal tax and firearm tax witch all to get is $.35 for every dollar you spend "usually"

  • @djaaron23 Thanks for telling us that information about Texas. My guess is other states will soon follow as they try to balance their budgets. These Politicians comes up with the wildest ways to make tax money.

  • @displayfireworks1 is it a good idea to attach this to your ass with the projectiles shooting into your ass?

  • @Peppepoppldoppl lol.poofs would love that.

  • @displayfireworks1 All they do is hurt the economy still further. Speaking of balancing budgets.... In Kansas, I never recieved an unemployment check but was taxed for it at the end of the year AND, they owe me 400.00 tax return???? Never got THAT either.... I'm living and working in Texas now. No state tax but property taxes are pretty darned oppressive... and the fuckers are STILL broke, but we won't go there.... They downsized jumping jacks and ground bloom flowers too... very sad....

  • @displayfireworks1 its hard to put tax on things that are sold illegally.

and to the guy who said they are 1.4g that is inaccurate because 1.4g is consumer grade. thunder kings are 1.3G (class b) display grade. i used to get thunder kings aloung with my salutes. i wont talk about were i got them or anything but that is a 1.3g firework that cant be sold commercially.

just an fyi correct me if im wrong im not here to start an argument.

  • @djaaron23 you know how much i have paid for golden peak fire works and brothers etc here in puerto rico for cakes 35 bucks because here its illegal son we get rip off all the time by the sellers

  • @displayfireworks1 Where did you get the real Thunder King? I heard 1 of those this past 4th and really liked it!

  • At least the price of kush is decent xD

  • WoW i love those havent seen them in a while comming from ny ill go to a store in P.A. thell have thunder kings then all of a sudden its disscontinued cause of the ammount of flashpowder in them or phantoms thunder sticks were great louad as m-80 soon as someone talked they dont make em anymore wish i could get licensed to buy and light class b fireworks so bad i love fireworks any suggestions displayfireworks1

  • great no one seems to know about this anymore and yeah thunder kings are like 70 to 100+ dollars in hawaii

  • how can a regular person without a 1.3 permit get them when the amount they cost dont matter.

  • Larger one was SLIGHTLY louder and abit bigger color .

  • in hawaii it would be that price times 20 hahahahaha its such a rip off and so hard to get these days

  • yeah here in hawaii any firework that shoots over 25 feet is illegal,

so to get these kind of fireworks is really hard.

therefore a cake like this, thunder king, can range anywhere from 60 bucks to about 130.

then for a display shell is like 200-300 for like 6 shots.

    crazy huh.

  • the smaller one is for the city and larger ones for back country area's haha thanks for the info buddy

  • Fck yeah Thunderkings in HAWAII is like $100 that is a RIP OFF !!

  • dam 7.20 for you 50.00 for me dam !!!

  • That's always the case. You get a few items under the table, some dickhead hurts himself, or gets caught with it, rats out the person with the license and poof, no more handouts for anybody else. Looking into my own license. This country is starting to get so chicken shit on safety from cars to fireworks. It's ridiculous.

  • Dave, where can i get the gulf war & thunder kings? I use to shoot for a company in bessemmer PA. a great old timer that i will miss very much.

  • Dave, are they both 1.4?

  • @jjbiz007 no they are both 1.3

  • I've noticed that also.thunder king is good.fireworks are pretty cheap by me

  • Du laberst zu viel.

Zünde die Dinger als Test, sonst guckt sich die scheiße keiner an!!!!!!

  • Too bad they don't make these anymore

  • Wow the large thunder king was way better.

  • Omg those american measurements are SO confusing :P .. Anyway nice video, you explain it very good, and it's so sad to see that people are getting cheaper and cheaper, so they prefer to buy not-so-good fireworks and pay less for it... Bad bad evolution!

  • hahaha american measurements? .... how bout... inches...

  • As per usual it simply a case of getting a bigger bang for your buck. In my opinion if people simply ignored the smaller thunder thingy, and didn't buy it, the makers would get the message and quit making em

  • okay i would like to know were to get a thunder king i cant find anyone who sells them please help

  • The 2 fuses are if you want to hook up more than 1 cake

  • thats y iget blackcat

  • whats the 2 fuses for? i dont get what the point is of 2 fuses? hahaha

  • 25 dollars a cake here in MI from the guy i can get them from and there kind acrappy :(

  • @BigBombah ha ha you should move into the us main lands lol

  • @BigBombah damn idk who u buying from but u getting jipped

i get mine cheaper $100 can get me some salutes!

  • @BigBombah becuz its shipped here bye boat and yeah hawaii should have those they only have suckesh fireworks

  • @BigBombah Dude that sucks in texas our small cakes average about $12 and our 500gram ones cost about 50 depending on there performance.

  • @BigBombah lol in my country 5 euro's for a thunder king (the big one we dont have small ones) i live in europe i think 1 euro is about 1.39us dollars.

  • @glennie5000 The prices for thunder kings in Hawaii has a big rate. It's pretty expensive for illegal fireworks down here.

  • @BigBombah In my town thunder kings are $1 per package and each one includes 14 seperate thunder kings. Thunder King cakes are $2,5. Haha.

  • @BigBombah lol , 3 dollars in holland....

  • @BigBombah holland is the cheapest in fireworklook at here (i dont know if u can see the price cuz its not december but look vuurwerkwinkelvlaardingen(dot)NL

  • @BigBombah holland is the cheapest in fireworklook at here (i dont know if u can see the price cuz its not december but look vuurwerkwinkelvlaardingen(dot)NL an 99 cent (1dollar for u) for 99 cent we have 200 firecrackers

  • i agree with 808skyo808! i live hawaii and we pay too much for good fireworks! bad ass fireworks are way too much for us.

  • @808eeks dude stop complaining i live in australia every single fireqworks are illegal here we are not allowd any so pleases stop complaining lol

  • Yups man. I'm from Hawaii too. It sucks badly.

  • nice vid im looking to see wat is the loudest firecracker help me plzzzz

  • your smart!

  • 5.20 for that size is cheap. that really sound like a thunder

  • inih doe if u cut dem up u can hold dem well i doo cos im mad

  • i have seen smaller cakes do way more damage then bigger cakes.

  • $5.20? & $7.40?

is it really that price?,or its the price per single shot of the cake?,damn u got a good desription of these 2 thunder kings but, somewhow have missed a bit, wells 5/5 stars!

    MEAN!

  • It looks like you are from Hawaii, I heard fireworks are ridiculously priced over there

  • yes it is.damn, lucky 4 you guys up dea in da mainlands.CHEAP!!

  • Our government sucks lol. I wonder who made them Illegal? Linda Lingle?

  • @displayfireworks1 alaska has great priced fireworks no tax either awsome

  • @ethanissocool according to my information two companies sell fireworks in Alaska. Fire Art in Bike lake and Gorilla Fireworks in Wasilla

  • @displayfireworks1 i took yor advise and pay more for better bang

  • @displayfireworks1 They have miniture stands all around mile 52 in houstin if im not mistaken. but thanks for telling me about firebike

  • @displayfireworks1

you really got it that cheap?! thats insane!!!! and im from Indiana!

  • THUNDER KINGS!

got them in singles and in the 25 shots<3

love the damn thing so much.i dont even want 2 light it yet!

  • How big are YOUR thunder kings!?!

  • wow man $7.40 for them

hawaii is $100+ maybe get it little cheaper if u get lucky...

  • whoops.

thats supposed to say some companies. not so companies

  • Thats a good point about the aerial shells not being able to be sold smaller. but so companies use less black powder break and add sunflower seed shells and rice hulls to fill up space, then they add small amounts of flash to speed it back up for a positive break. but that might be why 1.4g consumer shells have a distinct pop sound. good comparison. 5*

  • I'd pay more for better quality and louder noise every time. Smaller is never better when it comes to fireworks, size does matter.

  • thunder kings are myone of my favourite fireworks

  • as for the two same effect green & red comet tails to salute. the lift charges in the lidu cakes were much heaveyer then the no namers. but the effect was unreal in comparison, (lidu= 30.06) (no namers= 300MAG) they damn near scared me lol. so size, price,& name is no longer an issue. the other differance was lidus cake went about 15sec / no namers 40 sec. both were 25 shot with only one fuse.

  • hey dave cool vid,to bad my vid on quick match didnot work. as for the thunder king i went to my local supplier here, after he told about these lidu products called thunder kings. when i was there he had two types under that name, so i got a case of each. the lidus were twice the size of the no namers all 4 the same price. upon testing the no namers in the little box were ungodly louder than the lidus go figue. i was always sold on the lidu products as to be high quility.but not this time.

  • hey dave did you know that there a solute louder than the thunder king its called a super shocker

  • thunder kings are legal in england just hard to find not for me though if u want to buy a thunder king 25 shot for £35 or $25then messege me and tell me and ill ship it to you any location if dont feel safe telling home details then tell me somewhere else to deliver

  • i want to buy some thunderkings

  • Nice info thanks.

  • Here in hawaii it would be a miracle to buy thunder kings for atleast $20 :( average prices range from $60-150+

  • David,

You get my messages? I never received replies.

  • we had both

  • gee where i liv in hawaii.. i would die to pay under 20$ for a frigin thunder king. no matta how small or big da ting stay.

  • i got the thunder kings in single shot

  • The smaller one looks more like a class b firing squad. and i was gettin those for like 10bucks a peice! Alot of money! But the thunder kings and strobing thunder i get those for 200 a case because i dont have have the liscene but i know a guy! Have you ever shot up a class b battle of colors or the 25 shot crackling bombette! Real nice cakes!

  • Darn Dave, you are getting yours for a very good price. I am paying $10 a piece for mine.

  • I'd definitely pay more for those bangs, and the extra fuse is nice too :)

    Nice comparison ;)

  • Nice comparison with the charcoal, the larger one definately had a bigger bang. Worth the $2 extra. Good video as usual Dave!

  • My cousin and I have gotten some 25 shot thunderkings, they where nice but now we have got a big box of thunderking 1.3G single shots. They are 5 in each little packet. Nice bang too.

  • where u get the thunder king from

  • From D.A Fireworks.

  • where did you buy the thunder kings for 7.40

  • LOL. funny you mentioned. i've noticed it just the last time i picked up some. i had bought a bunch of smaller thunder kings w/ the thought "DAMN they're getting smaller!" but also thinking, somebody must've managed to pack the power TIGHT. i don't usually do thunderkings because i put my money into effects for the most part. but i saw that it was a little cheaper than usual($40 ea. blackmarket in Hawaii. yep. you all got it made! :P) and yeah, i was'nt very pleased to say the least :)

  • how old do u have to be to get a class b permit

  • wow,to give an idea of this,I can tell, same is happening in sweden, perhaps not just what you mentioned here about the fireworks size..But the price has gone sky high, while the items get less and less effect! It is also happening with other products, like food, less in the packaging, the price stays the same..It's heartbreaking when they cut down like this, though I strongly dissagrea on cutting down colour rather than have less boom! I love the colours xD But I guess diffrent thoughts only do good,

  • Unfortunately, this is beginning to be done with overloads. You will notice a few 2" visco salutes are having very heavy walls, and they are just 1.75 salutes. (With a brand I got last year, at least)

Dave, let's just hope they don't start doing to 1.3 shells what they do with 1.4 single shot tubes. I.E., 3" 1.4 tubes, etc. That would be a complete nightmare.

  • Oh i have one more question when i go to tnt fireworks supercenter i see those huge motors will they make it smaller and does the no.500 labeled on the tube means the shell in it is 5 inches?

  • This is in Belgium the same.

Here ar the fireworks gething smaller en les louder al so.I think that it's al over the world.

  • Respect.

There is no substitute for quality.

    Epic Fireworks

  • I have the big one :P

  • Wait so ur saying that the could change the size of the cake but not the size of motors?

  • I am talking about professional fireworks. The mortars are 3, 4 5, inch etc. If you try to place a smaller diameter shell in the mortar it is dangerous. They have to make the shell 3, 4 ,5 etc. Because all fireworks companies in USA use this measurement. When they look to downsize they can not make shells smaller so they try to make the cakes smaller. I personally do not want smaller fireworks cakes. I would rather pay more and get the good quality and most likely safer one.

  • the same thing happened with cheeseburgers at McDonalds, they used to be a decent size, but now it just sits in the palm of your hand. rip off!

  • It is happening to everything across the USA. Now even fireworks. But for me do not down size my BOOM. You need a good salute barrage finale to end your small fireworks display. I have loved these Thunder Kings for years so for me I will spend a little more for a good salute cake. The chemicals used to make the boom are cheap so I really do not see why they want cut them. We might accept less chrysanthemums but not less boom.

  • Why didnt you do a comparison of old and new silver sonic warheads instead of salute cakes? NO tk is 1.4

  • I was thinking about doing that. Maybe some time in the near future.

  • wow u get a great deal on urs i usaully have to pay like 10 or 15 dollars for a cake of those which really sucks but if u wanna play u have to pay

  • the bigger one is class b

  • wait isnt the big one a 1.3g class b?

  • Iv noticed the same thing, only in my case the smaller cake is more expensive
