311 are an incredible band, soo very underrated. they put 120 percent in every show they do, every recording, their styles of music Alternative Rock, Reggae Rock, Rap Rock, Hard Rock, Funk Rock and Ska Rock. That is incredible to learn understand, and play the structures of those genres of music in the style they do. They deserve SOOO much more credit Then 3/4ths of the crap out there. I love 311 They inspire me to play music and I love to listen to them.

This is quite possibly the most negative song 311 has ever done. However, the lyrics seem like a lament, a cry for help, and a struggle to stay positive throughout the negativity that he is going through . That's the cool thing about 311. Even their negative songs are positive in some way.

@Spydr14 He definitely did. No mistaking the 7 string guitar/5 string bass bomb drop to that B. He used it in recording this song and had it at one time on his equipment list(Schecter 7 I believe). He might still, but I haven't checked recently. This song is one of the reasons I got a Les Paul 7 string guitar. He plays it differently live on a 6 string now.
