I always found it funnt that people compared Yngwie to Blackmore when he actually sounded more like Uli, Blackmore always sounded like a frustrated lead player - his solo's always sounded like his fingers could not move fast enough to convey what he wanted to play, Uli never had this problem - I would go as far as to say that he was probably the first neo classical shredder, his fluidity on this track is amazing!

Uli is so underrated and also a genuinely nice guy, met him in England once, speaks English with an American accent! Lol! Masterful and innovative guitarist and songwriter and not a bad singer either. The early Scorps had a much more harder and powerful sound, and although their latter stuff is excellent, it's a shame you don't hear more of their early classics like this on the airwaves today.

The greatest guitarist that ever lived in the classical metal realm. This is The GOD of the electric guitar people. Ulrich Roth did this classical stuff before anyone. I worship Ulrich Roth! This song proves he is the best on the planet. There is no better and there will never be anyone better. Yngwie became a guitar player because of this song. I did to. I quit school when i heard this solo because i wanted to play guitar like Ulrich Roth. I always took inspiration from Ulrich Roth's playing.

@oberfour1 yes uli had this freebird spirit and this hippie spirit.he was a great guitarplayer.sometimes i can hear some Hendrix and R.Blackmore influence in his playing together with his ow style of guitar playin makes him so unique.Y.Malmsteen is great but sometimes too much solos and too fast not so muc feeling lie hendrix,blackmore,page or even ULI Roth.those guys dont need to play fast and heavy to get a nice rocktune from their guitars.sometimes less is more
