PS3 yellow light of death repair - 4x normal speed

This is not hard, I just took apart my PS3 to clean it. There is one thing to be careful of, the Bluetooth radio which links the PS3 to the controllers is in the very front of the system. If the radio's ribbon is moved, it can cause the system to not sync with the controllers until it is adjusted properly back into place. Be careful.

LOL! of course it happened playing MW2! This happened to me a couple days after MW3 came out, during game-play ..... but then i fixed it using this method, without thermal paste ( nothing was open where i could pick some up) It worked and it only tooke me about 2 hours to do, and i only had 1 screw leftover... lol the hard part is trying to remember where all the different screws go.

Some good stuff there! It happend to me, my brother and the rents, we all had original 60GB's, luckily we all had warrenties!

Mine came back, and I built my own PC and sold the PS3 to avoid anymore YLOD's... Much easier solution ;)
