@Basch152 The Lakers weren't as good as the Kings, but they were able to step up in game 7 in Arco and win it. In this game here, Horry hits a three off of a Divac deflected rebound. The Kings shot themselves in the foot WITHOUT referee help. It wasn't like these games were blowouts. The Kings blew assignments and missed free throws. One game out of 7 does not lose you a series regardless of when it happens. That's my only point.

You're basically saying it's fine for every series for one team to start up one game, because it's ONLY ONE GAME, it doesn't matter, when it clearly fucking does.

And as aforementioned, all the Kings had to do was make their freethrows and they would've won the game. Even with the refs working against them. The Kings had 9 steals but only 4 fastbreak points. Their fault.

I remember this game and I can recall that everything seemed a bit fishy to me. I can't say that for sure the refs rigged the game or not, but when Horry made that shot--THAT WON THEM THE GAME. It was one of the greatest moments of NBA history and I couldn't--and still not able--to believe it! It was a fantastic shot! Love Horry!
