NIce ride! I got the exact same car an almost the exaxt same setup. 05 black STi turbo catless HKS exhaust with a cobb stage 2 tune, Athlough yours does sound slightly more mean than mine. Just got mine a few months ago but had a 02 bugeye rex cobb stage 2 as well, STi is night an day difference over the rex. You had any probems with overboosting? I've seen 18.6psi on my cobb AP. Just curious what you see? You have any of the infamous strut clunk?(the drum set it the back). Again just curious.

as far as im aware on turbo cars back pressure is not so much of an issue, thats why when you see turbo drags the have short stumpy pipes normally straight out the side, ITS ALL ABOUT THE INDUCTION BABY!

I did that on my truck before I got a full exhaust system; I just cut it past the cat converter.....and ran it for like a week. Pretty sick with a 3.4l v6, sts turbo running 22lbs of boost.
