I'd like to ask a question though. With Dragunov I can't do f,f+2 after qcf+2 f+2,4. Simple f+2 comes out all the time. I can do f,f+2 naked or after qcf+2 but not after f+2,4. Input history shows I do f,f+2 not f+2. Any advice?

If you take the things you learn from each video and apply them they work great. Sure you're going to get some losses on the way, but 1 video at a time for a full beginner is a great way.

for spammers u have to be more specific, i wouldn't help u though :P

@ttacka Any decently feature-packed fighting game would seem ridiculously difficult if the info was just thrown at you like this. Especially Super Street Fighter IV. I'd almost want to sell the game if I had to learn it this way. I've found some amazing teachers, and it's still something I have to take in teensy bites to prevent sensory overload.

@iPritt You can promote higher only online. You can promote higher offline on PSP version. XBox360 and PS3 versions allow you to promote above 1st Dan only online.

I've played fighting games for a long time, but never played Tekken. Tbqh, I could understand this quite easily, however, I believe people who's not experienced with fighting games, they would have to watch this video many times with long pauses in between to get it.

all the years Ive been a master at this game...I have to admit this is the best tutorial for begginers I have ever seen.

The showing of the moves with footnotes is very informative. It actually helped me raise my lvl of play with frame knowledge. Its something for everyone here who didnt analyze the new characters. Also I found the link to your page on SDTekken,com. Your guide has helped me properly set up my reversals after my attacks that create range. If they turtle I grab :P

@Nunek18 frame data isnt basic...and some people dont even use/understand it. I learned something about the new characters from these guys. So keep your comments to yourself. I actually watched episode two before this one, from this one I learned about double binding. Something new to Tekken 6. The guy in the middle said he cant do armbar reversals. Something I do with ease. So everyone has to work on their weaknesses. A true master would know this.

its simple when doing d, df, f, you roll it sort of like throwing a fireball in street fighter. or a tetsumaki. depending on your standing position. this motion is usefull for characters like paul for his phoenix smasher. or wang for his similar move.

However, the notation used is universal. Its the same with alot of games like Blazblue has A, B, C, D, Guilty Gear has P, K, S, HS, D, and everyone should know SFs.

You also have to remember these games started on arcade and there is no X, circle, square, etc, or A, B, X, Y. One last thing who wants to type out circle over and over when you could just type 4.
