  • Very awesome thanks! I have a 57 and 2 cascade fat heads and this helped me out a lot

  • It's strange how the ribbon mic placed that far away still sounds so close.

  • Thx for the vid

  • U 87 is good mic

  • I agree with foketesz, Daw is showing 5 or so classic single and double Mic placements that save on reading 4 or 5 articles. And is a great introduction to newbies of acousic micing.... A picture is worth a thousnad words... Keep Smiling.

  • This was a great video or slideshow! It goes to show you people, less is more and there a millions ways to do it.

  • what's the big black board behind? Looks like a sound damper -- what's it made of?

  • useless my a**! simple, clean and concise. first a large diaphragm condenser, then a sm57, then a ribbon, the 2 small d condensers. In various positions. Just look at the pics, the mics are what they look like, check any online catalogue

  • @foketesz Thanks for backing me up!

  • @theDAWstudio I have a few mics including the 87, 47, sm57, c800g, and a few others.... the sm57 is the cheapest one I have at just a little under $100. From your demonstration, I love the warm ribbon sound, but the sm57 is unbelievable at its price!

  • U87

  • Whats with all the smiling, must have smoked some of that good.. haha Rock on!

  • okay i can guess what kind of mics but all i wanted to know is differences of mic placements and you sir have done that thanks...
