This kind of folk music is the most closed music to the music ancient Greeks used to hear and dance with. I m not a Vlah, I m a Macedonian which means I m totally Greek, like Vlahs. And if we search history well,we will see that Vlahs are the Macedonians who staffed the Romean and then the Byzantium army.That's why they talk a latin dialect in parallel with a Greek one.

Mda,..dupa ce i-au facut in toate felurile, acum ii incanta cu "elinismul". In Macedonia am fost si am observat ceva organizare din partea armanilor (chiar de slavi considerati cei mai vechi locuitori acolo..Am inteles totusi substratul caci exista si aici un interes tot legat de conflictul cu Grecia). In Albania, cum evolueaza comunitatile de ramani/armani..organizare,emancipare, constientizarea originii,limba? S,baneadză armânamea !

in albania cunosc de asociatia aromaniilor din albania.ei intradevar sunt destul de bine organizati si colaboreaza cu statul roman ca sa ajute tinerii din albania de origine aromana sa studieze in romania,si au studiat peste o mie pana acum:)trist e ca nu ajung cei care trebuie:)jumatate sunt albanezi iar si cei de origine aromana au o constiinta de albanez:) deci toti cetatenii albanezi care studiaza acum in romania au venit ca aromani iar 95% dak ii intrebi se identifica ca albanezi:)e trist:)

in afara de asociatia asta s-a mai creat una dak nu ma insel care este progreca:)tot si ei ajuta aromani sa studieze in grecia dar ei s-au implicat si in politica:)spre deosebire de ceilalti care au ramas doar la nivel cultural:)prin asociatia asta toti aromanii din albania care lucreaza in grecia au luat permis de sedere ca helen omogenis valabil pana la 10 ani:)permisele se estimeaza la 400.000-500.000 poate mai mult.deci deja sunt considerati minoritate greaca in albania de catre greci

Pelasga,desigur...In ordine cronologica si conform datelor istorice,din vechii pelasgi se trageau populatiile tracice si acestea au fost cele care au fost romanizate(ulterior plus alte populatii asimilate,minore numeric).Romanii S sau N Dunareni nu pot fi unii direct din pelasgi si altii din traci.E vorba de cronologie.Daca unii se cred descendenti direct din pelasgi si altii din traci,cei ce tocmai i-ai enumerat se vor simti pe deplin satisfacuti.DIVIDE ET IMPERA.

Arvanitis are recognized in their role for Greek independence. As they were as Greek as any other person who fought for Greece. They may have been 13th century Albanian migrants who wondered into Greece, but 600 years of Greek habitations was enough to Hellenize them. I wonder why the Arvanites did not help Ali Pasha, or support the Albanian national independence movement.
