Hey, everything in your case is fine. But why did you have to go with such a piece of shit heatsink. Really, no offense to you but I really think youre the only one that bought that heatsink.

The whole world wants to get away from Intels twist lock mechanism and you go and buy a heatsink using that locking method. You should have gotten something most people use like a TRUE or a Noctua NH-U12P.

I was looking for this thing too when i was intrested in ATI cards. Now im not anymore, ATI is weak. But The Crossfire & CrossfireX should be like this that Crossfire is for multi-cards and CrossfireX should be for X2 cards (like 4870X2). Im not sure tho, if youre buyng a X2 card of want to put many cards in then make sure that your motherboard supports Crossfire(X)

u should run the 24 pin and 8 pin round the back of the motherboard, there is pre drilled holes for it in the antec 1200 so it would be easy

I agree. Buying overpriced i7-940 is waste of money if you only OC it to 3,2ghz. 920 would have been as easy to OC.

The old 800w psu would have been more than enough for quad crossfire(2x4870x2 consumes around 550w on full load). If it didnt have any issues being stable, the upgrading of psu was also in vain.

2x normal 4870s is a bit waste of performance cause next year the 4870x2 will become 40% faster when the sideport open with driver update so then you'll see a huuge performance difference...

Yeah, the only reason I went for the 2 4870s was their resale value among those I know. My friends wouldn't be able to put a 4870X2 in their computers, but they would a 4870.

The performace with these is way more than enough for now, until theres an Nvidia card worth buying.
