  • ni hao, Joyce - thank you (do jeh!!!) SO MUCH for posting this! i don't know any Cantonese besides counting & greetings, but i've been watching many English videos and they have not been clear enough for me to get this. after i watched your video one time, i understood! it was also a treat to hear you count "yut, yee, som, sei" and i understood that, too. :)

now i can make my knitting project! do jeh!

  • thank you so much!!! i kept getting a big mess when i tried to K1, P1 and this helped me out so much!! if u know your stitches, you don't need english. thanks again! =D

  • ??????????????????????????????????????????

  • I've been trying to figure out how to k1 p1 to make rib and getting in a terrible mess, I think this video will have me sorted out, it's very clear! Thank you!

  • Good thing she was slow and the picture was good, as I don't speak (what I think is) Chinese.

  • Thank you Joyce. ^_^ I like your circular needles better than the ones I got. Mine are called 'Mei Mei' - bamboo circular needles from China. I like how yours have a finer or sharper point then mine do.

Maybe I can use fine sandpaper, and sand the dull points on mine.

    Xie xie ni!

  • 我的那一对是塑料造的,便宜货但很好用。如果你要用沙纸磨尖你的竹针,要小心一点,表面一定要磨得很滑,可以的话磨完要上蜡,否则有刺日后再用时会钩着毛线,很麻烦的

  • Very nice demonstration, in any language.

  • pls speak english!!!!!!!!!!!!! ask the lady to do it slower!!!!!!!!! vaey hard to learn!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is a teaching aids I made for my S3 Students who study this subject in cantonese. Sorry I didn't got any english version.

  • The part 5 is teaching the method how to change stitches between knit and purl. Therefore you have to practic part 3 and 4 (making of knit and purl)first or you will find part 5 would be difficult to handle.

  • The tricks in changing from knit and purl is to remember you have to place the yarn of you right hand under the needle when you making knit stitch and place the yarn over the needle when making purl. Hope this would help you understand more.

  • thank you
