@merlino90 well that was a hardware lack of the nes which wouldnt allow the top sprites (pixels) of the plant to inflict damage.... this was later fixed with the snes version (super mario all stars)

Pasa por encima de las plantas ,más de 1 vez y no mata a Mario,eso ni el mismo se lo cree.Estre video esta trucado .

Y es que además para jugarlo ya sea en nes o en las maquinas de videojuegos antiguas,esas que les metias una moneda y tenia palanca ,debias tener un control extremo al saltar ,correr y esquivarte ya que eran muy sensibles tanto las teclas como la palanca y un movimiento erroneo te hacia perder.Igual en Pc.

Lo de las plantas , pues es era el truco. Pasar tan rápido que no le daba tiempo a matar a Mario. También pasa con el calamar blanco del agua. Por otra parte, aparte de las maquinas recreativas, también se versionó para videoconsolas a principios de los 90, con mandos más manejables.

At first I was wondering how you kept on touching the piranha plants on the sewer tubes without dying; and then I looked at 1:20 when you pushed yourself down faster from the air somehow and everytime you did that I heard a second jump noise lol. You have good hacking skills lol.

The fact that he can touch the piranha plants and the hammers in Bowsers castle is because the game has useless hit detection, if you time it right, you'll be untouched. But this particular video is tool-assisted. if you want to see a non-tooled run check andrewg1990's channel.

Uh, are you guys kidding me? This video is older than God. He did it using slow-mo and save states and then simply replayed it all here, it's pretty well known. It's THEORETICALLY possible to do this in SMB but you'd have to have absolutely perfect timing, it'd be essentially impossible to do a full run-through perfectly.

yes, this is actually not a real speed run. you cannot jump through the hammers like he does in world 8-3, other than that i suppose it could be real, but i've never even fathomed jumping across the open pirahna plants (where theres more than one) on the edges of the pipes like he does. to do that and complete the game as perfectly as he does, it would be insanely difficult, bordering impossible.
