Demo mode is easy to activate. Turn off the lamp via the remote, and then press and hold the remote on button for around 5 seconds. The lamp lights and then cycles through the colours slowly until you turn it off via the remote. Least mine does. Bought mine mid 2008.

It is possible to put the light on demo mode. Turn the light on. When it is on hold the on button. The light should go into demo mode. I found out accidentally when I sat on my remote :( clumsy me. Then it was just a matter of finding out what button to push to get the demo mode. Enjoy it but it is going to fast for me. Haven't found a button that slows down the demo :(

I have one of the first lamps, so i think it has something to do with that.

hold the "on" button for 5 seconds (the lamp has to be activated) and the demo will appear.

to turn it of, just turn the lamp off and on again.

if you review a light source you should take care your camera is using a fixed exposure/brightness, somehow..

anybody found out how the have the lamp running demo mode? (that is cycling in all kinds of colors, instead of just 1 fixed color) great for a party...

thats isn't possible...only the demo lamp can do that...and the demo lamp isnt for sale..I asked the salesman today.

got the same response from the sales person when I went back. but, most likely there is a trick to make a normal lamp a demo lamp. like "press and hold keys xx while switching is on" we will know soon enough

the philips site says after connecting the lamp to the electricity network...the demo will start and show you all the different colors. I think de demo stops after u've seen all the colors.
