I think the book "Oxford" Ville talks about was filmatized into a movie Jude staring Kate Winslet. That film was so beautiful and so tragic. Incredibly tragic.

religion IS NOT based around money - the Church is. There is a huge difference. You cannot dismiss religion my dear Ville just because there are some that use it for their own political interests. If you Really want to get involved with and be a true Christian you can do it in a subtle way that doesn't have to do with following instructions by those that want to ruin the Church. Is he pagan? I thought he's agnostic - I heard him say in an interview that he doesn't believe in any mainstream religion and that he thinks God, if He exists, might be in the world around us, in the connections between people, and in the power of love. I thought that was a beautiful belief, one I have no trouble sharing, though I myself am Christian.

My god, this man is an absolute genius. One day I shall meet dear Ville and just talk with him for hours on end. It will be beautiful. Beautiful man inside and out. It makes me so happy that he is so learned especially that he knows about art history as it is my forte.Thank you so much for putting this on here.
