  • @travelader k thanx

  • How much was this flight on MH? HKG is one of the mor expensive airports to land at. I would prefer doing KUL-BKK-HKG on TG for the same price, or even less, and still get to visit another airport!

  • @LeeClaxton It was too long ago, I can't remember but that sounds like an interesting idea to fly on TG, it would be good to visit another airport. TG is very expensive down to Sydney though for some reason, just like Cathay, otherwise I would have liked to try them.

  • Oh COME ON!!!! i want to see the Safety demo in full! :S

  • @yoelfebrian ok :), I think I recorded it in full earlier it's on one of the MH flights.

  • do they say all the anouncments in english

  • @f6jordan hi, yes they certainly do.

  • @travelader even the ones from hong kong and other flights

  • @f6jordan I flew from HK to KL once with MH but that was a while ago, I think they announced in English too.

  • I saw MH148 depart Melbourne on the 30th!

    Is MH a good airline?

And does the captain say, "I will fly for 15 hours and 5 minutes"?

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 hi, MH is quite a good airline in terms of service and the hardware is being updated. It was usually on time when I have flown them internationally and the flight is usually not too rough and yes, the captain will announce the flight time usually. "Our flight today will take 8 hours and 30 mins".

  • @travelader I wanna fly them! Do you get power outlets in economy though, because I know everyone gets power for laptops etc in an A380.

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 hi, well I'm sure MH would be glad to have you as a passenger. They have power outlets on this aircraft for each seat, 115V but these and the economy-class seats onboard the new 737-800 are the only ones where they have the in-seat power as far as I know. They only have about 5 of these new A330. Hope you fly them sometime.

  • @travelader I am flying them in December 2012, I want to do the whole thing Malaysian except one A380!

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 that sounds great and I'm sure they would welcome that, where are you flying to? Which A380 will you be on?

I want to fly the A380 on Malaysian when it debuts on the Sydney-KL route.

  • @travelader Will there be MEL - KUL? I'm going Melbourne to Singapore to Colombo, Sri Lanka to Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne. The first one is A380 hopefully.

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 that sounds like a good sequence of flights. They don't have plans to put the A380 on Melbourne-KL at the moment. I think it will first go on Sydney-KL. For Melbourne to Singapore, you could go on Singapore Air or Qantas and maybe get the A380 I think. Not too sure about Singapore to Colombo but for Colombo to KL, Malaysia Air use the 737-800 but I'm not sure if it's the newer one on this route with ptvs. Hope you have good flights.

  • @travelader Yes, that's why I'm going through Singapore! For the A380!

MH is a nice airline I'd rather fly A330/A340 than 737, but customer service is top notch

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 Hope you have nice flights, whichever airline you take to Singapore. I might take the A380 on qantas there sometime. Yes, I think MH is an airline with good customer service but their aircraft and cabins are falling behind a bit but the new aircraft should help.

  • @travelader True! Thanks for all your help!

  • @GoingToBeAPilot1 no problems at all, glad if what I said could be of any help :)

  • @travelader :)

  • i love malaysia airlines

  • @shameho yes, me too, nice airline.

  • they have usb ports so plug in ipod and what happens

  • @01jtiong it charges but I don't know if it can be controlled through the inflight system.

  • Comment removed

  • the seat looks better than the b777

  • @crazyfrogfor2 it is better than the 777 on MAS in some ways (inflight screen entertainment) but also has less legroom, is more narrow and is shorter but I think with the a330 it seems most airlines don't have the best seating. A 3-3-3 layout on the 777 looks like it will allow wider seats than the 2-4-2 seating on the a330.

  • the music sounds like a kind of indian music but is sound nice

  • Nice music!!!

  • @FaizLuqman glad you liked it but it's not really to my taste.

  • have you got really long legs or is there not much leg space?

  • @blackratpoo I am around 180cms with quite long legs but the seat definitely has less leg space than the usual 34 inch seat pitch on the economy class usually used for international flights by MAS. I really think that something better has to be offered by MAS for the A380 product because the seat here is basically a little better than the Emirates product on the 777-300ER but not by much, it's also quite narrow and short.

  • I like the boarding music, its like an indian fusion

  • @kazim786 I must admit this was music I had not heard onboard MAS before, it was quite interesting.

  • is this a330 new or b737 new?

  • @1234muhd A330 new

  • @1234muhd amerhuzairy is correct, it's the new A330-300EX.
