@Axxidous Psychologically I would say that he sounds more angry and has a serious self complex. I used to feel the same way when I was a kid but not suicidal. Suicidal doesn't fit someone who wants to control everything because he see everyone else as pathetic rats that can't find their way out of a maze. Why would he want to kill himself when he could try and prove that he's better that everyone?

@Thenewfallingsacred Yeha but it woulda made more sense if they thought it was a suicide note. The words sound like it's a goodbye note from someone who planned to kill hilmself. And I highly doubt his parents knew about his Digimon Emperor complex. That's why I said from their perspective it'd be a more logical misinterpretation.

@Axxidous He said that he would be moving on to bigger and better things and that basically his life in the real world is to boring. You don't go onto bigger better things if you commit suicide. This world being to trivial doesn't automatically mean that he would be suicidal it would just mean that he wants to make something better of himself. "Goodbye to you all. Your trivial lives will plague me no longer. My destiny awaits" sounds like "Goodbye forever. I can't stand living in a world with ppl like you. I'm ready to die."

I'm looking at it from a realistic and parental perspective.

I was viewing it from a parental point of view. When a kid disappears and leaves a note like that, it sounds dark and emotional and like the person had depression. It doesn't sounds like a not that translates to your typical "I'm running away from home." especially when he kept quiet to himself.
