  • a curve is suposed to sink

  • how did you make a screwball grip and release look like a drop curve?

  • damn, thats good

  • sons garbage

  • @mariomaster510....the ball clearly hits the box before the ground

  • Thanx I throw dis and no1 hits it

  • You are all wrong. He looks like Josh Beckett.

  • Your video sucks you can't even see

  • nice cubs hat

  • That had a sick break! It's so much more fun to throw with a wiffle ball, makes you feel like a pro!

  • you look like the general hispanic pitcher

  • hey man not bad at all...can you throw anything else?

  • looks like josh beckett

  • only works with an unscuffed ball

  • Go cubbies!

  • Yea it's a great waste pitch but I find it hard to hit the zone

  • I hold my curve in the opposite direction and I am a righty. It can be hard to control but I don't need a scuffed ball like most people do and it breaks sharp and late from 2-3 1/2 feet and because of the late movement you don't have to whip the ball.

  • Dude sort of looks like Dontrelle Willis.

  • Yaaaa go cubs!!

  • this guy looks like mo vaughn

  • very nice, im bout to go play now! i love Memorial Day!

  • looks like Jaayson Vertex

  • Looks like Brett Myers.

  • nice cap bro.. go cubbies

  • wiffle ball ftw its a shame its about to be winter

  • nice im just a kid that loves baseball, your really good though

  • lk at my wiffle pitching vid

  • when i have that formation on the wiffle my curves in to a righty and sinks amazingly

  • wen i throw the sinkin curv it only drops no curve

  • Thats because the "sinking curve" is an unsanded wiffleball pitch. My guess is that the ball you are using is worn and well broken in. This Olds455 guy uses a fairly new ball which is why it breaks toward the holes. Whereas your ball is starting to break in the opposite direction of the holes.

  • whoo ..cubs fan huh

  • u look like Manny Delcarmen of the Red Sox.

  • I wish I made money like Manny Delcarmen. LOL

  • @olds455man Hahha! You do look like him man!

  • @cwb1130 fuk the red sux

  • @cwb1130 hahha woah he does

  • @cwb1130

kinda like Eric HInske to me

  • That always happens when I try to throw screwball. It will brake to the right then like tail like a slider.

  • that curve ball is a 12,6 curvball

  • thats nasty

  • respect, fellow wiffle ball enthusiast

  • NICE PITCH!

  • dang...nice movement on the pitch. i started throwing that pitch when i was playing against my brother and he didnt hit it once except for fouls.

  • i tried throwing it and it did a little of a screwball action. probably bcus my fingers r a little 2 small and they don't cover the holes completely.

  • good vid try showing your finger placement a little better though

  • good pitch

  • that was gross

  • nice

  • dude that is so sick

  • At 0:35 the ball hit the ground!

  • Yeah, after it hit inside the box. It bounced out of the box! Do you hear the "thud" sound? That is the ball hitting the box. After it hits the target, it bounces off to the ground. The ball won't make that sound if it hits the grass.

  • @MarioMaster510 it hit the box r tard

  • @BaseballXaverian2010 it never hit the box idiot it hit the siding

  • @CCaslopea it definately hit the box...

  • @MarioMaster510

    spoken like a true noob

  • No offence, but how is it a pitch if the ball didn't even make it to the strike zone? It hit the ground...

  • I.m not sure that you are seeing it right. The ball does not hit the ground. It hits inside the box about 1 1/2 ft off the ground. The purpose of this pitch is to make it look like a strike when it comes out of your hand, then make the batter swing at it as it sinks out of the zone.

  • You could throw the ball four feet above the strike zone and it is still a pitch! It don't have to be a strike. Fastball low-away... Fastball low-away.. Sinker or curve low-away so that it looks to coming @ the low-away corner but breaks into the ground. If the batter swings STIKE!! If he don't.. Good eye!

  • @MarioMaster510 Really? A pitch is a pitch. Pitchers throw out of the strike zone all the time to get hitters TO MISS!!!! No offense, but that's a dumb question.

  • Hell yeah man, I throw my sinking curve the same way. good shit dude.

  • your the man

  • pretty cool...

    f.y.i. find a bigger shirt...

  • Not to be a stickler...but in no way shape or form does throwing a wiffle ball help with a real baseball...I pitch it doesnt help trust me..

  • I know it doesn't help with baseball pitching. I was a pitcher starting in little league and pitched all through high school. I'm not trying to show people how to throw a curveball with a baseball. I'm just trying to show people how to throw one with a wiffleball. Baseball is all about the pressure of your fingertips and wrist action to make a ball break. It is much simpler with a wiffleball.

  • y dont you join in mlb?:D

  • it doesnt kurv at all.how old r u 45!

  • Have you ever seen a curve ball?? Apparently not. Maybe a "kurv" is something different. And yeah, I'm 45.......why do you waste time by leaving retarded comments on people's video's?

  • Kid that curved alot actually

  • U are Garbage ... use ur imagination wow build a strike zone and maybe throw 100 more of those and u might get a decent video of 5 pitchs

  • ha ha ha...."U" have no idea what "U" are talking about. "U" are just one of those douchbags who leaves hate comments on everyones youtube videos because "U" have nothing better to do. Get lost loser!

  • do get a life that guy is hitting a 4 by 6 in box with a sinking curve and you think you can do better?

  • peetard slider huh?

  • goood sinking curve!

  • thats awesome

  • he kinda looks like joel zumaya

  • is there a certain way to throw? i can't get mine to move?

  • Just keep practicing until you get it to move. Look at some of the other comments on here and you'll see what I said to other people who asked that. Thanks for watching.

  • he looks like Hinske

  • cool...... sort of like a sinker or drop ball dont u think??

  • Yeah, a lot like that with a little bit more of a sweeping movement. Thanks for the comment.

  • GO CUBS!

  • nice

  • CUBS SUCK!!

  • Yeah, everybody hates teams that whip-up on their favorite team.

  • dude... that doesnt look curve at all it looks more slider

  • The curve has a sharp downward movement while it breaks away from a righty. The slider is more of a sweeping pitch. It doesn't have too much downward movement on it. I have a slider video on here. Check it out.

  • How do you throw that pitch for a lefty? I'm a lefty and i always have such a hard time making it drop mine curves and rises i cannot get it to drop i tried so many ways to position the holes, usually i have them facing up it still rises

  • Try snapping your wrist a little bit harder. The majority of the movement comes from position of the holes. But when you put lots of spin on the ball it will help it move downward. Also, try to keep your arm angle pretty straight. Throwing 3/4 or sidearm, for me, makes the ball rise a little more that usual.Hope this helps.

  • Is that Joel Zumaya?.......lol

  • nice pithc!!!

  • ur good..im working on this pitch

  • thats an awesome pitch man

it would be so hard to hit

  • Thanks. I appreciate the comment.

  • fuck u rock!!!!! and where can i get these wiffel balls and what agems are they sued for as i live in da uk ? ty

  • They are used in Wiffle Ball games. Kind of like baseball without running the bases and with fewer players. Look up some videos of it on Youtube. Some of those guys are really good. You can order the balls online. Just search the internet for wiffle ball and it will come up with lots of sites with rules and places to order equipment from.

  • THANKS MAN!:)

  • how far away are u standing

  • I'm standing about 40-45 feet away from the box I was throwing at.

  • can u throw the same pitches with a ball with holes all over it???

  • No. You can throw a curveball with one of those balls, but you would have to throw it like a baseball. Just throw it over-the-top with lots of snap in your wrist. The wiffle ball catches air with those holes to give the ball the effect.

  • hey i cant get my slider down please help

  • i know ehere you can get the googd wiffle balls

i got mine at a place called sports athourity

  • not bad but i would still rip it

  • does this only work fast pitch?

  • It will work if you pitch it slow. But, it usually acts more like a slider if you don't throw it hard.

  • slow? u pitched it about 75 mph?

  • do u actually snap ur wrist on this pitch? it looks like u do?

  • I snap my wrist just slightly. The more you snap your wrist, the more movement you can get. But it makes it a little slower and harder to control. Thanks for the comment.

  • I don't really get how this pitch works. If the holes are facing left, then the pitch would move to the right of the target, not the left. Unless you snap your wrist. Is it a straight down like a baseball curve, or a twisting of the wrist clockwise? This looks like a good pitch since I don't have a pitch the moves down and away from the righty.

  • You have to throw it overhand with a little bit of snap to your wrist. Not so much like a baseball curve, more like a baseball slider. Just twist your wrist clockwise, but not too much. I'm not sure exactly how it work with the holes facing the left. For some reason, if you grip it like I grip the curve, it curves away from a righty. But, if you grip it the same way and cover the holes on the bottom with your thumb, it acts like a screwball. Thanks for the comment.

  • Thanks, I give it a shot.

  • sick on all 3 vids. i just recommending speakin louder or something cuz i can barely hear it.. but sick movement

  • pretty good.

  • Thanks for all the comments.

  • hah that is fuckin nasty

  • I think I got it down now after I saw this, Ive been trying to cover the holes with 3 fingers instead of 2.

  • Nice explanation, I've been struggling with my curve, so this really helped. I like the covering the holes a bit, worked well for me. This is just one of those pitches I haven't been able to develop, but nice work on yours...

  • you need a bigger shirt

    but nice pitch

  • He he...Thanks.
