Susheela Rahman has just tried to bring the song to us in a different light than it was done by the great singer Shankar Jaikishan . So , it is no new thing to try out a song in a different tune . Viewers who like the song can stay and listen while those who like the old one can redirect to the old video . We must understand that Susheela Rahman and Shankar Jaikishenji both come from different times of music and has been exposed to different classes of music in the times that they have lived .

It is thanks to their inferiority complexes that some Indians trash NRIs who try to reach back to their roots, when this should actually be commended and appreciated. Also, Susheela is a great singer. You should check out her other work before you tarnish her image or voice out of ignorance. If you are an ardent music lover, you will listen to them with an open mind and you will like them.
