I don't want to be "that guy" but that phrase, "I've always depended on the kindness of strangers" comes from A Street Car Named Desire, where Blanche said it at the end as some psychiatrists hauled her away to a nut house. The phrase is supposed to show her fundamental character flaw, it wasn't actually the message of the play.
