  • You really need to squeeze your elbows straight. It's bad for and changes the balance if you bend them. Stretch your straddle and your pike. Keep training!

  • thats really gd 3 weeks ago i could hold a handstand still for like3 seconds now my best is 38 and go from squat up to handstand then planche at 45degrees i got better pretty quick now i just need to kep it at that rate

    question for you, where and how did you obtain that small miniture parallet bar set? I've been told some people make em out out PVC pipping. I stopped training for years and need to get back into it ... unfortunately Gym's are a little far n costly. Thanx in advance

  • you are not supposed to bend your arms. it's hard to get the right balance if u are not a gymnasts but u look strong enough to do it. u got it just don't bend your arms dude

  • Bending your knees at 0:35 :S ... but allaround nice vid :) i want to show u a press like the one u are doing at 0:35 ... just a little harder version

  • need to have straight arms for it to be considered a press

  • so you need to do a bench press with straight arms? just kidding, but you can do presses with any combination of bent/straight arms & bent/straight waist & bent/straight legs. they are all progressions (from bent,bent,bent to straight, straight, straight) toward the planche handstand press (straight, straight, straight)

  • just to let you know, i used pvc, a saw, and glue to make mine and it cost around $20

    They are very tough, and support my 80kg easily.

    Have lasted fine even to this day.

  • I saw on another video you posted that she should try a frog press handstand, could you make a video of what you mean by that, if you already have one could you direct me to it.

  • Keep your arms straight and squeeze your ankles, thighs, and rear together as tight as you can. Tighten your stomach and keep your head neutral to prevent overarching.

    If your hamstrings are not flexible enough to do pike/straddle presses, try planche training and press up from a planche.

  • Check back on my earlier videos, the frog press one in particular, this is the key to getting every press.

  • How did you train yourself to do this? I'm trying to train myself but I can't even get a burn when i'm trying... I just can't.

  • They are called PVC Parallettes, they are easy to make and aren't terribly expensive either.
