  • bought this album back in the day..its remained timeless..great to see wb still live!

  • A great song from a great band

  • I got this album form the states as a gift. For the first hearing I knew they play may music. Especially this song...

  • Amazing song. Its a pity they never made it really big.

  • Ha ha, I'm only 2 minutes into this and I'm so glad it lasts for 9. oh no, 5, dam!!! Oh, ok, next tune, cool!!! I used to have this T-shirt. Nice post!!!!!!!!!!! 4 u die hard fans out there, it was a painting of a guy shooting his brains out with, "today is not a good day for me" printed underneath.

  • 'A Natural' that follows this, is one of the most honest and moving lyrics I've ever heard, and I'm not prone to exaggeraton either. Saw the boys several times in DUblin and Glasgow back in the mid-nineties and again when the played the reunion gig at The Olympia 5 or 6 years ago, Simply amazing, I hope they give it another go and steal the world this time !

  • Seen them twice in past fortnight. Didn't have high expectations, just went for for the nostalgia. Well fuck me, they were brilliant. I've never seen a frontman like Feargal, he is captivating. It's almost uncomfortable watching him. Lying on his back screaming into mic, walking around hugging the crowd. The passion and intensity of the man is almost frightening. Spread the word that they're worth seeing, we can't let this great band fade away again

  • Without doubt the best Irish album of a generation - virtually faultless

  • heartworm is one of the greatest albums ever.

  • Working class Dubs writing music that is so full of feeling and passion, raw talent these lads had. Makes me proud to be a Dub!

  • I miss the 90s music, such a great band and wonderfull album.Wonder what could

    happent to them.

  • I bought the album in about 1998 - and the one after ......... INCREDIBLE BAND !!! WTF happened - They were too ahead of there time.......... Better than Snow Patrol or any of the manufactured albums that have been produced on Irish soil - Makes me sad that talent like this gets overlooked .......... Bad Books - One of my favourite songs EVER ... LOVE you guys whatever you doing now ... xxx Post and let us know ...

  • @superchicgeek saw them in cork last night - unbelievable show with some new songs - hopefully they're back because they're better than any other Irish band out there by a long way

  • lets get these guys back together, powerful emotional rollercoaster following these fantastic guys , incredible middle eight and haunting backing vocals and strings where are these guys ......

  • Very good song..5/5

  • seriously..what an underated band!class song,class album!

  • Wow there so awesome i just cant believe they split i cant compare them to any one else

  • It's the hidden track after this that got me hooked on this band.

  • dude wtf

i bought this song on itunes by accident thinkin it was we dont need nobody else idk how i did that

  • such an underated band

  • Saw them on No Disco, and went out and bought the album, loved it, in fact I have had 3 copies of Heartworm, between playing it too much , or friends "forgetting" to return it, just put it into your CD, and hit the repeat button, and you will be taken away to a wonderful place. Songwriting has taken a turn since these guys stopped producing - But my god, there are NO bad tracks on this album. Gifted, talented I wish them nothing but the best. Great band

  • @cuachulainn god remeber no disco? i remeber when your woman died, that was shite altogether. she was from down?

  • The songwriting and powerful, heart wrenching sound of this band never cease to amaze me :D

  • Great song and well done on posting it along with the moving 'A Natural' as it is on the album.

  • I used to listen to this song on repeat while trying to sleep, it has so much going on that it used to get me thinking about everything but sleep (in a good way!).

Utterly, brilliantly, heart-wrenchingly sublime. A poet at work. Thanks for posting it.

  • God How I wish they where still gigging and I could see them...Incredible band..U2 have nothing on these guys

  • what a great way to end such an epic album, the lyrics are incredible

  • someone recommended me this band,i got d album. If you dont have it, buy it. my fav r twinkle and morning rise,i like all d songs. good irish band

  • I bought this album on I-Tunes and its fantastic. I loved "Twinkle" and "When we were young" when they cane out.

  • Without a doubut THE most underared adnd in irish music history. This album is more and artistic statement than an essay in pop success. Fantastic stuff!

  • wish they'd reform again, i'm 18 only heard them last year....immense album

  • Please buy this album. The name of it is Heartworm by Whipping boy.One of the greatest ever Irish albums. This is one of the most honest soulful 'love' songs ever written.Keep performing Fergal
