I'm one of the happy cliens. I added some weight in the nose and it flew amazing. When the battery is low I start to lose the control but it's ok. I think it was a good deal for me. I will try to add more wingspan to see if it glides more. I feel that the engine could do more.

I got mine today, I havnt flown it yet, but I tested the motors and there was a slight pause when I put the throttle on then I would go on and once and once only wehn I let go of the throttle it kept running for like 2 seconds, very strange, do you have any suggestions?

Another bad range victim. You could try the following:

-Unfold the antenna, or even better: increase the length of the antenna (mine is now 55cm).

-Power the transmitter with a higher voltage (use 8 AA batteries instead of 6, or, like I do, use a 11.1V (3S) lipo).

-Try the capacitor mod.

If you can get a refund, I would opt for that.

hi ive recently bought one of these planes but ive lost the instructions and i cant fly it i cant even get it off the ground can someone plz help me ?

i got that one the 3d one and i got the thunder jet one the black box you put the wheels in carfully take it out open the back up and push the crystal in hard then glu it back in ive never had problems but my mat did and that worked be careful when pulling it out because of the wires going through the plane

Update: there's a mod to increase the output power of the transmitter. See under 'About This Video' (on the right side). Haven't tried it yet.

Same here. Mine just flew off but i managed to put it back in place. This plane is quite hard to manouveur too!

The answer is......Find the RX aerial copper wire in the tail fin and solder on 6 inches of very fine copper wire.

Then add an extention to the TX aerial to double the length....I know this should not be necessary but these Mods give you range of 300metres plus and at that distance you have no idea which way the little plane is pointing....( I have Modded 3 planes succesfully 2 air acrobats and 1 air Dasher)

how important is it that the new wire on the RX is exactly 6 inches/TX is double the length?

I calculated for 27Mhz you need a dipole of 33cm.

If you take one apart the RX copper aerial inside is about that length.... So multiples of 33cm are good for that wavelength...

hm.. I have the same plane, and never experienced this, unless the batteries are about to get empty. (And it works even after 9999999 crashes)

I had to return the Acrobat three times to the dutch Silverlit distributor before I got one that kinda worked. Range is now around 40 meters...

And about the bill: if a new product is defect, the manufacturer/distributor/selle­r has to repair or replace it, bill or no bill (unless warranty is explicitly excluded).

i have exacly the same problem with this model.. and with the silverlit airlifter too. even expensive duracell batteries don't help.

but i lost the bill :( i am just angry !
