God...everybody here has a visceral contempt for William Shatner. Oh I'm sure that he feels that it's totally beneath him to actually dress-up in the Star Trek uniform and parade around on a set when he's not in front of the camera while the rest of the entire cast is just lucky to have some work. But I'm sure that while he see's himself as being above the original cast, the original cast see's themselves as being above the various spin-off cast members as well. The Star Trek pecking order. lol
It's alright, I forget who he is too sometimes. The 4 supporting TOS actors deserve this kind of thing, honestly - they are such dicks to Shatner. He had a job to do and he did it great, and all they can do is complain about their jobs.
OUCH!!! Still, I love Walter's reaction to the drink - it must have been some lousy stuff. Paramount spends mega-bucks on making movies but can't spring for good champagne? Jeez!
Forgetting Koenig's name is pretty inexcuseable. It's possible he remembered and just didn't know how to pronounce the last name -- but even that is almost as bad.
sorry but that is just inexcusable. You work with the guy for twenty years and you can't remember his name? william shatner is the biggest fucking narcissist that ever existed and a shitty actor.
@americansrfaggots cmon you anti american take it in the butt foreign scum. I forget names all the time . try remembering the hole you came out of, and crawl back in.
Ha ha! Yeah that was great. Thanks for uploading this gem. I doubt Shatner was really being thoughtless or anything. I know when I'm on the spot I have trouble with my memory too. This is what I always hated about taking karate lessons. You're 12-years-old and they want you to perform a perfect series of movements at a moment's notice while everyone is watching you. I won't even get started what a nightmare tournaments were x_x
@tarrker Cool, what style of Karate did you take. Here in Edmonton I studied Shintani Wado Kai Karate. I agree with you about being on the spot, sometimes when I had to go and teach the kids, when I was 18, I didn't even want to go because I felt obsolete in comparison to the Japanese masters who teach this at 80 & 90 years old.
@monkeymirror When I was a kid I took Tang Su Do? I forget how it's spelled. I've done a lot since then but I know what you mean about the masters, lol. I've studied dozens of martial arts over a period of 20+ years so I out match almost everyone here that only studies karate or kung fu. But anytime I go to a tournament or anything, I feel completely out ranked :P
Walter wasn't the only one who disliked the champagne... LOL

LOL!! His face was priceless.
It was rude of Shatner to call Walter by his character's name :(

I guess that is why some cast members (i.e. Takei) hate Shatner

The ideas, adventures and friendships of Star Trek is still cool to me. It's a pity that the real life didn't hold up.

@BarryDennen12 I understand why you would forget his name but Shatner worked with him for 20 years.
