I am a Chinese. Gambling is a very problem. The temptation of easy money is only 30 minutes! It is so easy. Of course, almost all gamblers will be losers. I am losing not only my money but as I will be thinking about casino even when I am working. My performance will drop! Gambling is all consuming. All gambling addicts, may GOD bless you. Seek help when gambling took over your life!

the oldest economic sectors in the world are drugs, prostitution, gambling and drinking. it does not matter how bad they are, they are still essentials parts of people's addictions. the best thing the governments can do is only control them instead of outlaw them completely.

yes, gambling has its bad sides and good sides, but who are the biggest winners ? surprise! surpise! its the casinos. with most or all of the casino owners making billions, i wonder what are they going to do with all that money ? wink, wink, take it to their graves

That is true that it contributes to the economy, but what's the point? How do you weigh economy to growing social addiction? and how about here in the US? - Casinos aim their customers to asians through ads and even buses. and so, how about those addicts that go bankruptcy and go to court for that? Is that fair? - we, tax payers, have to pay for those.

It´s all a matter of moderation. All in excess is bad (or evil, in your say). Gambling is not in all a bad thing, just look at how Macaos economy grew from that. You can say that gambling can bring addiction and such, but it can bring addiction like everything else. What has to be done is teach people to control themselves, to know when to stop...
You can´t to remove everything just because it can be bad... The problem is in man, not in what he can create
