We had multiple dams break, from lack of maintenance. What you read about superb waste management in Canadian mines, is far fetched. The actual lake "Elliot lake" is where my town is built around and this lake is our drinking supply. One incident, a dam 2 lakes upstream in the river system failed releasing hundreds of thousands of tonnes of radioactive waste

They took from us to make billion$ leaving us a radioactive ghost town

Excellent song. I live in a town called Elliot Lake, ontario which is in Canada

If your curious why im taking the time to say that this is a great song, well just do a search of "elliot lake" online and read about what kind of destruction Rio Algom, and Denison Mines left my town. I was born at a time when they were closing, and now they left me hundreds of lakes contaminated with uranium tailings and areas where i am not allowed to go My town has NO wealth
