Listened to UB40 when they first came out & they were good. 28 years is a long time & full respect to him - the energy of the planet has changed for the worse & music is a reflection of the peoples moods, thoughts, feelings & inspirations. On a dying planet inspiration is challenged but they still keep the little ones from realising this :(

he should have left the band about 20 years ago. He has a wonderful & unique voice. I wish he had been given some better songs to sing to. It's still not too late.
I remember first learning this news nearly right after it happened. I was shocked and I'm so grateful I got to see them live before he left. UB40 really can't be the same without Ali Campbell, but I'll continue to watch both him and the band and to be a supporter of all of them.
I must say I'm pleasently surprised at hearing his voice in speech. It sounds way deeper than when he sings. Strange how some singers can do that so well. He's really got a signature voice.

I've been in two UB40 concerts, one with Ali one without him. Wasn't the same at all. Ali's brother looks similar, but not the voice. I love UB40, but the original ... I hope sooner than later the conflict between them ends. Please ..we want the real UB40 !!!! UB40 need Ali and Ali needs UB40.

YOU know that the real reason was you wanted to go solo - UB40 was their own management, they made all their own decisions, you were invited to meetings, I know *I* made the phone calls and the Emails to you, but were always 'too busy' to come. The property deals were for tax purposes, which were quite legit - speculate to accumulate - each member to spend roughly £80,000 pounds, to save £65,000 in tax

UB40 ARE their own management, what he's on about were some financial advisors bought in to help the band with matters of tax. There is only one UB40 Im afraid and they were at the Rainbow. Robbie Williams is NOT take that, Ali Campbell is Not UB40. UB40 were brilliant at the Rainbow, cant wait for December. Robin and Duncan sound excellent together. I can't believe Ali now calls himself. Ali Campbells UB40 when it is him and a load of session musicians who play with other bands like Award, really original band then, what a pity, seems a tad desperate. UB40 are legends. I remember first learning this news nearly right after it happened. I was shocked and I'm so grateful I got to see them live before he left. UB40 really can't be the same without Ali Campbell, but I'll continue to watch both him and the band and to be a supporter of all of them.
I must say I'm pleasently surprised at hearing his voice in speech. It sounds way deeper than when he sings. Strange how some singers can do that so well. He's really got a signature voice.

I've been in two UB40 concerts, one with Ali one without him. Wasn't the same at all. Ali's brother looks similar, but not the voice. I love UB40, but the original ... I hope sooner than later the conflict between them ends. Please ..we want the real UB40 !!!! UB40 need Ali and Ali needs UB40.
