he, he, i think it's funny how so many people are fascinated by this guitar simply cause it can tune itself. i wonder if anyone is going to play that edition on stage.

personally i wouldn't spend that kind of money on that guitar. i also think that the finish is way horrible.

It seems like a superb idea, but its just one more thing to have to adjust ,Being on the road,.your things get roughed up a bit,On one of our gigs a les paul and strat got run over, as someone leaned them up on the blind side of the car,,they fell during moving backwards & you guessed it CRUNCH AHHHHHHH he drove over them both snapping their necks like a twig .LOLOLOLOL (only joking) it is a true story though.

no offense other than helping you tune your guitar and a few other small tasks, this guitar isn't so great. And i wouldn't trust the eletronics to hold out very long, also this is a first production run....usually anything in first production sucks

I have one too and I had to pre order mine in advance to get it. I saved around $450 off the overall price doing it that way. The pup's could be a little more agressive but overall not bad.

yah i agree it would look so much better with a darkwood sunburst and gold hardware like mine but even though i can tune by ear it would save a shaaat load of time with automatic tuning.... and the led lights are cool.

It's not much more than a normal les paul...for the price, i'd pick it over anything else. It's REALLY cheap compared to the precursor technology, which was the Transperformer. Costs 5,000+ to get it set up.

i think i do understand what this guitar does...and better than you..it does what any guitar with a tronical system. its not an exlusive system nor is it designed by gibson.if you put a tronical system on a gibson studio with a blue paint job you would have the same thing..cept it would cost 1700...i dont play hello kitty kat yo..i have a rainbhow brite 335

the system is awesome in itself...it's 600 bucks..more as a writing tool.being able to tune to another key in a 15 seconds.i'd slap it on a cheaper guitar and use it if i was playing in a bunch of alt's for a show..but if i had the option between it and 5 guitars all tuned different...im going with the 5..but im not in the goo goo dolls or soundgarden..id make a custom britney spears model complete with floppy labia pickguard and child neglector pickups

i don't think you understand what the guitar actually does, it tunes itself and keeps it in tune while your playing, parts of the body are hollowed out to get maxium sustain and body feedback, while at the same time making it much lighter and it tells you how to callibrate the bridge for perfect intonation. id like to see you callibrate a guitar by ear bitch.
