The original version is stunning sexy. Think because it's live or she's nervous ? if she could keep the "rap" part as something a mixture of sexy whisper and moaning (as on CD version) rather than "talking" (as she did in live) .. It will be much better

As it's her sexy voice which attract us in the very beginning, hope she could keep it even when singing live... rather than being overwhelmed by the supporting crowd

okay, I adore leighton, but am I the only one who thinks she is not really anything special live? I mean, she basically talked her way through this whole song, the chorus was the only part that was sung and that sounded pre-recorded.

@nohea017 it's how it's supposed to be live, it would be impossible to whisper it like the studio version. :) I kinda like it more this way.

There are other songs around the are actually sung and I think she sounds good, she's getting better at each performance.

Actually, @wildxochild, she isn't lip-synching the chorus. Leighton's got the chorus' backup vocals playing in the background-- just as you can hear in the actual song and at her live perfomance at Alexa Chung.. If u listen carefully, the volume gets significantly lower and the vocals are different when she takes the microphone down.. @maye13 is right :)
