Of course it can. The AIM-120D has rather more weapon range and capability. You would need to wait for the new gen R-77s to equalize. Moreover, the Viper is better as a multirole jet with more payload and capability.

That is wrong! It is the least advanced AESA radar with a smaller range, limited engagement capability, and bulkier tiles. the Su-30MKI incorporates those "western" traits in itself, thankx to our Israeli allies and also our own emerging technologicla advancement. Maybe the original Su-30 k was not good enough... but the MKI is only second to the raptor in the world.

The MKI is outrivalled by the Raptor, and also disadvantaged in some regimes by the EF and Rafale- both of which are much stealthier and offer greater _supersonic agility and avionics sophistication. The MKI's avionics are quite good, but it needs a new generation of A2A weapons with longer range as new missiles emerge.

without the stealth technology of raptor.. a one on one dogfight ... the raptor wud be blasted in a matter of seconds. The only thing that makes raptor superior is its stealth.. nothing else

The Raptor has a huge supercruise edge for more launch energy and good endurance, and also has better supersonic agility. It's "data fusion" and radar is also at another level. But the prime weapon is stealth and avionics.

Erm what you said is not true. Its china and russia who is getting along. The US has been yelling that russia is a threat recently as well as china. And russia only takes india as business buddy not allies. India has 70% of russia planes, tanks and etc.. Am i right??

Russia is also helping us in the construction of many Nuclear Power plants. They have also readily made available a lot of military technology in times of need. Putin has on many occasions remarked as how he is pleased with Indian Sovereign policy of not letting other countries affect their decisions.
