what the hell ... not bad record out of 300,000... some times if you just coperate with the law your life can be a better one... you know whose bad so turn them in and you to can live in peace and make it a better city....
first of all san jose is not a beautiful city its a hole in what use to be a beautiful valley... There is no doubt that power abuse does occur with law enforcement, (very sad what happened to that girls father, im sorry). However the majority of the time if treated with respect they will take it easy on you, unless you deserve to be manhandled or need to be taken down. In some cases it may be necessary to subdue someone and protect themselves rather than risk injury because they hesitated.
This is coming from someone who spent six years in folsom state prison studied law and is very familiar with the judicial system. Don't get me wrong the police do abuse their power in certain instances but 9 times out of 10 its your own fault. Put yourself in their shoes, imagine all of the ignorant, intoxicated, high, abusive and or violent people that they have to deal with on a daily basis...
Most of the SJPD look for hisoanics but i have friends joining the force to make a differnce. How much more brutality can the streets of San Jose take? One day every body is goin to say, "WE HAD ENOUGH!!" U can pretty much imagine what happens next! Im just one voice waiting to be heard!
