I watched this movie last night, and i think it was a truly inspiring story! It showed the truth about bands and what some of them have to put up with! Rock on Anvil! Your music rules!

Until this movie came along I had never heard of Anvil but I have more respect and admiration for these guys than say.......Sting and Bono to name but a few. Their perseverance and work ethic is from another time and place. Awesome does not do them justice.

In the last 3-4 years Anvil have played Download, Rocklahoma, Loud Park, Bumbershoot, have done a European Tour, appeared on Conan O'Brien, released one album and are currently working on another....all on the back of this film. They're never going to make millions because the market has changed, but they're doing OK considering their in their 50s - and they're doing a hell of a lot better than they were before this documentary was made.

Hope they finally have gotten the recognition they deserve, and the MONEY to live like the true Rock Stars that they are. I can tell Lips is a guy with a huge heart and he deserves all the money he should've got back in the day when they were touring with big bands that made millions. A very inspiring movie and people. Great music too.
