@mulder2400 Horus wasn't the sun-god of Egypt. He was only characterized as a sun-god when he became syncretised with Re and became Re-Horakhti, or Horus of the horizen. The sun-god was Re (and other manifestations of Atum) . However, a theory proposed by Alan Alford is that Re wasn't originally a sun-god but a planet or satallite that exploded.

The Christ is a Jewish rendering of Egyptian gods and Egyptian motifs. But simply repeating what others have said does more harm than good.
