360 HDD Activity LED's and Window.AVI

I know how to wire up an activity light that comes ON when there is activity, but how did you wire it so that the lights flicker OFF when there is activity??

Does anyone know where the HDD draws power from for the LED's? I am modding an elite at the moment, and I have installed the Talismoon LED fans. I have ordered a blue LED HDD case, but I am unsure where it will get power from. I haven't yet recieved my case, which is why I am asking. If it helps, here is a link and insturctions:

thanks, yeah, now i have to put a window in the side of the box and wire some led's :)
