I've found that Green Arrow's Exploding Arrow is intensely powerful, almost to the point of being broken. Auto-aiming fast-traveling attack with splash damage? Put just a couple of efficiency boosts into it, and you can kill most bosses before your power meter's empty.

I like this game but, other than bosses, the only strategy for this game is:

A. button-mash your powers till they expire

B. then button-mash your punches till your power meter refills.

C. run away if your health is low until it refills.

Repeat from A.

God of War 2 it is not...

Still, 2-player mode is fun, and it's a good laugh to max out Superman's Superpunch, and place level 6 damage and efficiency boosts into it (about 6000 damage a hit!).

@Gvideos48 yes aquaman is worth leveling. all of them are actually. i've played this game multiple times just to level up the characters. the harderer levels are really challenging and make you change your stategy when fighting bosses. not just a button masher. great game.

i litterally beat 90% of the game mashing the same button over and over again (no, i did not play on easy). only in a select few bosses did i actually have to do something else. in this game, you actually require STRATEGY.

if your playing 2 players then press the up direction at the same time using the two controllers.. if one player.. just use the up as well

Does this game suck balls or something? Usually there's a lot more gameplay footage on Youtube, but for this game I can hardly find anything. If someone could put some game play footage of different characters using various powers like the martian manhunter and others and of different levels it'd be much appreciated.

It wasnt very well received. I own this game and its not as good as the marvel games like Xmen Legends1 and 2, Marvel ultimate alliance. , this game is not that great, is that you cant pick your characters, you have to play with whatever 2 characters are given for a particular level. There is only 1 level in the middle of the game where you can pick which 2 characters you want. After you beat the game, you cant pck levels. You hve to play all the way thru again 2 get to that one level.

People giving you thumbs down don't know what they're talking about. Stan Lee has admitted to taking some of the ideas that were going on at DC and putting their own spin on the ideas for Marvel. For example, X-Men being based off of Doom Patrol. This isn't me ragging on Marvel, it's a fact.

haha, i'm on elite right now. the only way to beat it is to be like around level 18-20, and have ur upgrades with all 7's. that sounds impossible, but it just takes time. but since i dont like wasting time, i used cheats, hahaha.

you can only use them on missions that allow them. there is no multiplayer mode. i just beat the game today. a little too short. the camera angle is horrible. very difficult to see. the characters and graphics are awesome though, but do not purchase. the short story line is not worth it.

You UNLOCK these characters and CAN play them in the game. In fact, once I unlocked them I used them as many times as I could.

Well, officially only Green Arrow. But, yeah, both. Perfect world, Aquaman would have been picked up and he still would have played Green Arrow in Smallville too.
