  • the right translation is "nothing is absolute , everything is possible "

  • noo oc siktir git

  • Comment removed

  • no that quote not mean nothing is true everything is permited its mean Nothing is true,Every thing is Posible.

  • Eventhough the new assassins creed is more enjoyable than this one (because there are more missions and skills) I still think Altair is waaaay more awesome than Ezio.

  • La shaiq' waqee mutlak bl kollin mumkin.

  • ليس هناك ما هو صحيح فكل شيء مباح

Nothig is true everything is permitted

  • @JordanHF00 thats not how you spell it

  • 0:45, Al Mualim is G-Man's distant cousin? (famous quote from hl2-ep1)

  • The Student, Has Become The Master

  • لا شيء واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن

    True True ... !

  • The direct translation is "Nothing is absolute reality, all is possible."

  • ALTAIR IS MUSLIM!!!

  • @juny786beatthat yes idiot he was a Muslim

  • @TheMimishis i think you mean arbic bc altire had no religion

  • Hmmm this sounds really weird, could anyone tell me if his Arabic is good? I can't speak Arabic but it sounds really different from anything I've ever heard (in egyptian music for example)

  • @dystopianangel He's speaking standard arabic, which isn't spoken that much these day cause every arabic country has it's own dialect.

  • Al mualim = noob xD

  • so who can tell me which of these translations makes the most sense to a native speaker

ليس هناك ما هو صحيح كل شيء مسموح به

ليس هناك ما هو صحيح كل شيء ممكن

لا شيء واقع مطلق بل كل شيء ممكن

لا شيء صحيح كل شيء مسموح

ليس هناك ما هو صحيح ، كل شيء مسموح به

ليس هناك ما هو صحيح ، كل شيء ممكن

لا شيء واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن

  • how old is altair in this memory?

  • Comment removed

  • @travis3115 25

  • It actually means "Nothing is absolute reality, yet all is possible."

  • hahaha open the CC and see what's written on 0:17 so dumb

  • I knew it! i knew he was going to betray me in the end after talking to the fat man.

  • I think Maliks means 'king' and not the 'owner'.

  • What spoiler means?

  • @Andreiuuu99 It mean if you not finish game and want to find out ending by yourself then dont watch

  • it sounds like he says " I say you walk on mutlak kel momken" to me

  • a fantastic game. i love it

  • So how come altiar didn't destroy the apple?

  • @narusaku9978 In my thought he probably had the thought that it could bring peace but only in the right hands. Besides, he ended up making his ultimate armor, the one you get in AC2 and the start of AC Brotherhood from materials of the Apple.

  • We'll see about that..

  • I find it quite interesting that Altair starts his journey by assassinating an old man, and also ends it by assassinating another old man. It comes to full circle.

  • @Notnac209 Good point, never realized that.

  • Altair speaking Arabic is so fucking sexy

  • لا شيء واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن

.Nothing is True, everything is permitted

    !!Altair is Awesome

  • @SURROUNDEDBYCOMMENTS The origional, legit quote is "Nothing is forbidden, everything is permitted,"

  • Comment removed

  • @AyleidOne Yes Ibn La-Ahad means The son of no one

    Ibn = son

    La = no

    Ahad = one

  • What Altair says in Arabic is The Assassin's Creed :-)

  • @tcktothemaxxx He says "Nothing is true, everything is permitted.", a statement spoken by Al Mualim in the very beginning of the game.

  • @MiddleEasternGuy Yes I know perfectly well. And I will repeat what I said earlier. That is The Assassin's Creed... Do you understand?

The Assassin's Creed= "Nothing is absolute but everything is possible".

And to all you other guys, YES! I know that it sounds different than the original English version of the Creed, and that is because it's translated from Arabic....

  • Which one is closer?

La shai wak'ion motlaq bal kollon momken

    or

A'shaia wak akla mukla bel kullukum mumkin

  • @lexocom The first one is much closer.

  • Nothing is True, Everything is permitted

  • 3 days ago i notice that Altair Was missing a Finger

I guess that's how he held the blade so good

  • This game is so much better than the second sorry but it is

  • has anyone noticed that al Mualim has hes ring finger O.o and yet hes a master......weird lol nice vid

  • Nothing real is impossible and everything is possible = لاشي واقع مطلق بل كل شيء ممكن

  • لقيط

  • altair says لا شيء واقع بل كل شيء ممكن

  • lol what does that mean in english, ha dont read arabic

  • @casf

altair says لاشي واقع مطلق بل كل شيء ممكن

    and it means

Nothing is true, everything is permitted

  • anyone know what the first thing atair says here?

is it arabic? what does it mean?

  • Yes arabic "La shaiq' waqee mutlak bl kollin mumkin"

  • thats what mario says in assassin's creed 2 when ezio is initiated

  • Oops forgot to say what it means...well... It means what he always says "Nothing is true, everything is permitted"

  • wohoo!

    w8 a sec..

    is altair muslim?!

    i didnt knew!!

    wohoo! 5/5

  • He's Arabic, not muslim..

  • Though the vast majority of Arabic people are muslim.

  • muslims were the first assassin's. its actually based on true facts. haha i was pretty freaked out. lol it was awesome when i found. but yeah they were out to kill the bad muslims and others who were conspirators that tried to ruin the culture and ruin the lives of the people.

  • Yup. And they were also high when they did it. Hassassins or "The ones that use hashish."

Then again, if it was my job to kill people, I might want to be a little out of it too.

  • Its Arabic dude

  • ya but that muslim assassin culture died off in 1200 because of another empire i think, everntualy that assassin culture became filled with hatred and greed and lots of back stabbings

  • @rawsheep he is but different sort of muslim a semi-religous people they did believe but didnt worship

  • Not exactly. Altair is definately Arab and historically, the assassins were, but I think the whole point of the game was that organized religion enslaves people so I do not think he would be considered a Muslim in the sense of following Islam. I read somewhere that he does believe in God, just not the worship of Him (but I have yet to finish ACII so I'm not sure if the answer lies in that game or not).

  • @evrythingburns and when they say like peace be with you they are just translating salaam o aleikum in english

  • Yes, which is technically an Islamic term, but it's like when you say, "Bless you" after someone sneezes. A sneeze was seen as expelling the devil from the body, but people who aren't necessarily Christian or theists say it because it's common, not because they believe the person just got rid of the devil.

  • @evrythingburns ok thats true :)

  • @evrythingburns if your trying to say that muslims dont believe in god they do because we believe in allah and allah is arabic for god

  • That's NOT what I'm saying. My entire family is Muslim, so I know.

I was trying to say that just because someone speaks Arabic doesn't mean they're Muslim and vise versa. And even if you DON'T believe in God, it doesn't mean you can't use a phrase that originally had religious context.

  • amsshkaaa your wrong Altaïr says

nothing is true everything is permitted.

  • The Voice of Al Mualim is also the voice of Duncan in Dragon Age Origins XD

    LONG LIVE WIKIPEDIA !!!

  • Oh shit, I never even gave his voice much thought! No wonder it sounded familiar lol.

  • Lol I love the way none of them sound remotely middle eastern

  • God, I love the ending, but imo, Altair and Al Mualim are one of the only people that had good voices. If it wasn't for the terrible acting of the citizens and enemies, I would love this game even more. Sorry, but to me it's as laughable as the CD-i games.

"He's going to hurt himself! And when he does, I won't help him!"

"You can't defeat me! God is on my side!"

"The fires of war consume the land!"

"I will make you bleed!" (lol)

  • It's translated to

    "You just got pwned, noob."

    Apparently Altair was a 1337.

  • is Altair a Muslim?

  • The assassins were Shia Muslims in real history but according to the codex pages in Assassin's Creed 2 Altair loses whatever faith he might have had through studying the Piece of Eden which pretty much proves all religions to be wrong. I also heard something about his father being Muslim and his mother being Christian but I don't think that's in the games. He marries a Christian called Maria though and they have kids together.

  • @facethefire1 yes

  • what does that mean? smelly shite fan mooblag?

  • La shay waq'iun mutlaq bel kullon momkin.

which means "Nothing is absolute, everything is possible".

  • i could be "nothings true, everything is permitted

  • This game is off the hook! loved every part of it, only the last part when al mualim used magic powers that wasn't realistic. And i also think that the arabic language wasn't really that good. But good work ubisoft, you rock! Can't wait till AC 3 is out.

  • 0:17 what does Altair say here ?

  • "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." (roughly) in Arabic.

  • thnx!

  • at 0:17 altair says

"لا شئ واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن"

it means " Nothing is absolute, everything is possible "

  • @amsshkaaa He's quoting the motto of the assassins -- "nothing is real, everything is permissible."

  • @amsshkaaa wrong....it means : Nothing is true, everything is permitted

  • @ditabarcelona He was doing a literal translation. Damn idiots.

  • @amsshkaaa thx a lot !.

  • @amsshkaaa wow you Egyptian?

i didn't know there was any other arabian awesome gamers :D

  • @amsshkaaa Apparrently it also means 'Nothing but an absolute reality of all possible

  • @amsshkaaa actually "لا شئ واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن"

was meant to be : Nothing is True , Every Thing Is Permitted

  • @Houssem8Ghost in arabic it's translation is absolute, not true. and yea i think that does make more sense

  • @Houssem8Ghost Is that it's real translation man is that very correct ? 100% ?

  • @TheBlackenedLight yes it is

  • @amsshkaaa thanks man..

  • @amsshkaaa in the game they never say that. they always say "nothing is true, everything is premitted."

  • He is easy

  • I like this game especially, the arabic language although it is not that much good. here you are some of the meanigs,

    Al mualim: the teacher

    altair: the bird

malik: an arbian name means the owner

abu'L Nuquod: the money father, the one who loves money.

jubair al hakim: jubair the ruler.

*you can hear someone shouting when you start afight:* OKTOLO AL KAFIR: that means kill the infidel.

*when you go to save a citizen you hear* LISON HAKEER: means you ignoble mean thief.

    regards

  • Thanks for the translation guys. :) I love symbolism.

  • @AY00B90 sweet we both speak arabic

  • @AY00B90 what does "Rafeak" mean please? (he'sthat breu leader that looks like Al mualim)

  • @26EMOARTLINKINPARK97 mmm,, Rafeak,, I think it is a rank of a friend,, when you spend alot of time with someone till he becomes a partner,, Rafeak means partner,,

  • @AY00B90 actually Altair means - The Eagle

  • @terrorlord15

an eagle is still a bird buddy.

  • @Kieran3196 eh yeah i know lol but the name specificly means the eagle

  • @terrorlord15 No, it really means "The Bird". And it is written and pronounced totally wrong. It is written At-Ta'ir and pronounced as such, with the t being a heavy t.

  • Comment removed

  • @terrorlord15 the Eagle in arabic mean = annasr,, Eagle without (the) means= nasr,, ;),, in the street language we call it (neser),,

  • @AY00B90 I dont think Altiar the word is arabic

  • @terrorlord15 al tair is an arabic word it means the bird

    al = the

    ta'iir = bird

    الطائر in arabic

  • @AY00B90 altair means eagle ;)

  • @AY00B90 malik means angel

  • @tzatziki10 mmm,, i think there is some sort of confusion,, malik means: the owner,, and malik is an arabian name,, it is also a name of an Angel,, the keeper of hell in islam,, I can relate this to the greek god Hades the god of the underwolrd,, but hades is a god,, malik is an Angel,, both have the same task,,

  • You can just pwn him with the hidden knife and make a combo with it x]

  • لا شيء واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن

  • La shai wak'ion motlaq bal kollon momken

    -----

Nothing is an absoulte reality but everything is permitted (possible).

    from IMDB

  • He says "Nothing is absolute, everything is permitted"

  • It's ''Nothing is true, everything is permitted.''

  • You can't translate it directly. Both are equally good/bad translations.

  • What does Altair say in Arabic

  • I think he says, "nothing is real, everything is permitted."

  • he says سأقدم لك انتقاما ل = I will avenge you

  • No he did not say that, his arabic is not well spoken and not very clear ... but he meant Nothing is real everything is permitted, kindda repeated what his master used to tell him.

  • I think everybody wanted to kill Al Mualim from the start

  • lol wanted to kill him form the beginning :p

  • your a fat ass!

    bitch!!!

    this game is awesome!!!!

  • but wasn that isrealic?

  • isnt that his leadeR?

  • yeah but u relize that hes like evil or some thing i for get

  • The part in arabic he says is: "La shay waqi-a' mutlaq bal kul mumken".

which translates as "Nothing is absolute but everything is possible"

  • always wondered what he meant. Thanks

  • its nice to come across follow Arabic speakers, im not but my dad is.

  • thanks

  • @rencrow yes, and in time it changed to "Nothing is true, everything is permitted."

  • @nikola799283 Wrong, Rencrow did a literal translation.

  • I heard, when you collect all of the flags, something new unlocks, But I don't know what:P

And also the locations of the flags would be a problem

  • lol why dont you use the hidden blade instead of the sword to parry then he dies instantly

  • What do I do after this? I'm stuck outside the Animus, please help me =[

  • The answer is; nothing. That's it. Game's over. You can do the whole "Eagle Vision" thing in Desmond's room to get the credits rolling. You can also replay any memory block if you want, but there's no point to it.

  • if u wanna go back into the animus to play the missions again u hav to see all the credits

  • Is the dude, (the student) an arabic? or was he an english or something.

  • you're an idiot

  • Fk u

  • This entire thing is set in...er...

This place, right, where they all speak arabic.

However, Desmond (the dude who is recalling these events) doesn't KNOW arabic.

So the animus (the machine that taps into Desmond's memory) kinda translates. But as the game progresses, Desmond's memories and Altair''s experiences begin to fuse, so he begins to understand a bit of arabic. As a result, you'll hear people speak it more and more towards the end.

  • DUDe WTF man why are u showing us the end OMG

u asshole i was about to finish the game

  • hahah man you looked it up why did you watch then?

  • lmao ya right

  • Dude destroyers223 if you didn't want to watch the ending why watch this idiot

  • What did you think when you clicked on the link that said "Al Mualim (YOUR BOSS) Assassination"

    ~Oooh no spoilers there~

    Lulz you phail at life

  • لاشيء واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن

Nothing is absolute but everything is possible

  • لاشيء واقع مطلق بل كل ممكن

nothing is absolute but everything is possible

  • Thanks M3QTR, been wondering what he says at the end to Al-Mualim, even though i'm half Arab,,,,,SHAME

  • you own

  • I haveänt played this game but why does altair kill his own master?

  • because he is a traitor, he was helping the nine in their quest :P sorry for the spoiler

  • If I'm not wrong, he was LEADING them.

  • what is a spoiler warning?

  • That's to say: LOOK OUT! IF YOU SEE THIS YOU KNOW THE ENDING OF [insert game or film name]

  • He is talking in arabic????

  • Cool

  • WAIT WHAT DID HE SAY

  • he saaid nothing is true and evrything is permitted
