since opossums are omnivores it is easy to give them the proper diet for their species.....not too much protein is essential for proper bone development....... they love cockroaches or dubia roaches, meal worms, overripe fruit, applesauce, eggs raw or cooked, lots of water, occasional fruit juice, fish, crawdads, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, bananas etc........

Don't give them dairy and only a small percentage of their diet should be meat...
