Yeah, this "season" back in early-'98 just didn't cut it for me. As much as I was a fan of the series by that point, I was happy to see it wrap for good by June, 1998. IMO, the classic theme song didn't even go with the opening credits. Noticed how much faster it went compared to the earlier episodes... But, it was good Malik kept with it till the end. And Tommy Ford in that "Boss" role was kinda epic at that time (being that he had just ended on "Martin"). And Lauren Velez remained beautiful.
@BrooklynEagle So true man. I honestly on't even remember season 4 besides Ford being on there. Season 1-3 were just epic, but once they killed off Torres, the whole feel of the show changed. Hell, when I first started watching this show, I was SEVEN. That's shows you how good the show was when a 7ry old was watching it lol.
@brentduanefoster The biggest mistake micheal being greedy , he got killed off because he was being greedy for money, he wanted more money. he was the one who ended the show. even tho i think season 4 was the bomb, i like the new cast.
@GatewayDXSeries If you are one half of the tandem that a show is centered around, and that show is a success, you have every right to be paid accordingly. Take a look at the cast of "Friends"; at one point, they EACH demanded one million dollars per episode, and GOT IT!! Michael DeLorenzo and Malik Yoba made that show, those in charge didn't want to break bread, and because of it, the show TANKED!!! It ain't about being greedy, it's about knowing what you bring to the table.
@brentduanefoster oh yea sure, i guess all the poor people in the world who don't have anything but a piece of bread on the table feel the same way as you do, or those who homeless in the freezing cold would agree with you, or how about those who are dead in the graves, oh wait, they can't agree because they are dead.
Be happy with what you have. Most people in the business don't understand that. I tend to enlighten people about that, because i do work in hollywood.
@GatewayDXSeries That's well and all good, but let's say that DeLorenzo stayed with the money, and the show continued to grow in its success and revenue, who's getting all the extra money? Answer: THE NETWORK EXECS!!!! I understand where you're coming from, but to say that people shouldn't get rewarded for working their tails off for making something successful is ridiculous.
@GatewayDXSeries (con't) If you're working at a job, and you are helping make whatever company it may be successful, and your superiors just give you a pat on the back and say, "Keep up the good work", meanwhile they're eating off your success, what would you do? You'd go look for another job that would compensate you better. Same thing applies here!!
I've been watching all of the episodes on dvd these past couple of weeks, finally getting to the fourth season. The whole FEEL of the show is gone now. :(
that should have been the theme song for the 4th and final season because the final season without eddie,natalie's nightclub,the musical guest appearances totally sucked
AWESOME! Works perfectly with the intro. Still say they never should've changed the theme. When they did that, and got new characters, that was the death of this show. :(
i never watched season 4, when the car exploded did he die, if so its tragic

The BIGGEST mistake they made on this show was killing Torres. He and Willams were what made that show. After that, the show wasn't the same.
