@Greekco The gas chambers were built in 1946, sometime after the war. That means they were never used as gaschambers during WWII. Auschwitz was a crematory where dead people were washed, then burned, before WWII.
Does it really sound like a smart idea to find Jews in Europe (they are afraid of nazis and hiding), then put them in trains, drive them to camps, then gas them? Instead of just shooting them as the sovjets did?
