I lived with a girl for 2 1/2 years who had a beautiful Main coon "Elliot". When I would come home from work and sit on the sofa he would jump on my lap and give me deep tissue belly massages (kneading my tummy with his paws). I loved that guy. I"m sure he is gone now. It has been many years.

As a former 13 year old ( i am a guy yes ) Maine coons sure are the best breed in my opinion. we have 7 cats: a russian blue, 2 tabbys, a ragdoll, and 3 maine coons. The Maine Coons are fun to watch play and are very affectionate. And frankly, they are just damn cool cats. =]

My family owned a maine coon. Great cat to raise with kids if you're not alergic. Ours lived to be twenty and put up with me and my brother from birth till we were teenagers.
