@air3100 I think the key phrase is 'so high for so long'. if you compare the '30's with the recent recession they similarly spike down (deep crisis!) but where the 30's recovers fairly quickly, currently we are not recovering so the crisis is not only 'deep' but 'long'. It struck me that one family was able to receive immediate help from the Orlando Union Rescue Mission a non for profit Christian based charity organization.

While the other family sought the use of public domains such as libraries, gas stations, and community groups.

I think we can all agree both choices are significant to these families and to what needs they may serve.

Most of all both families are living in a depressed economy.
