Men were never biologically programmed to take care of children. The fact that we do is amazing. Woman on the other hand are, thats why courts usually give the children to the mother and not the man
@BetroS83 -women were not necessarily biologically programmed to take care of children - they were programmed to produce them by giving birth-this is true, but society itself and we as social reproducers and socializing agents have placed the responsibility and emphasis on women as the carers for children. And why will you not touch a women with feminist ideas? Not all feminist ideas are extreme.
i love the video, it makes me feel very optimistic.
i see it happening around me. many of my male colleagues are very involved in child-care. we have "parent's leave" in germany (although it is still far from fair), and many men take it.
I think he 'assumes' a little too much. Not everyone is going to behave the way he describes. Myself, I would NEVER touch a woman who possessed even the slightest commitment to 'feminist ideas' of any sort. IMO, in the future there will be a struggle for social dominance between men and women, and if the women win the family structure will be almost completely destroyed. The sort of 'families' that he envisions will be a small minority as most people will remain single and childless.
Thats why I think dads are beyond amazing. Dads constantly worry and stress out when it comes to the well being of the family!!!

"men will be equal parents and still feel like men."
That is a statement which could launch a thousand conversations.

it's more like they picked up the women's responses and just parroted them, as for working women...
also it helps that there's more service industry and maid like services, cooking and cleaning, waiting on tables, and so on
the more jobs there are that are better suited to the generalized stereotype of a woman, the more working women there are usually
go figure
