I once felt like this and though still alone now by choice, I want to give hope to others. You can't "make" a lost love, love you. Being alone has allot of advantages, especially if you never had been. It hurts & scares the hell out of you at first, but as you start to make new memories & connections, you gain new prospective & then your life can open up again.

The thing about a good song is that there's still more there even after wonderful singers like LaBelle and McDonald have sung it. Twenty years from now there will be still other great versions of this tune.

One more thing about good songs: they can be interpreted in different styles. Pop, country, soul, no problem. Hats off, Mr. Bacharach.
